Nxai Pan is one of Makgadikgadi’s natural salt pans located on the northern border of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The Pan is one of the more accessible areas of the Makgadikgadi and situated here is Migration Expeditions Camp.
Migration Expeditions is made up of 6 canvas tents set on low decks. All tents are en-suite with bucket showers. The main areas are made up of two tents which consist of the dining room and lounge area.
Nxai Pan is well known for its huge springbok population and once the rains have started, gemsbok, elephant and zebras migrate to the region. At this time zebras come in their thousands to drop their young at Nxai Pan, which increases predator activity, making for good sightings. The camp is only open from December to March each year when there is abundance of activity.
Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles and outings to Baines’ Baobab.

Located within the Okavango Delta’s community – run Khwai concession, Khwai Leadwood is tucked away under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. The banks of the lagoon flowing into the Khwai river act as a boundary between the Moremi Game Reserve and the community area offering guests several unique ways to experience the area and its extraordinary wildlife.
Khwai Leadwood comprises of six standard tents and one family tent. All tents are en-suite with indoor/outdoor showers, as well as private decks with day beds. The tents are decorated with woven baskets and beaded décor, along with modern elements to create and authentic contemporary African style.
Keeping in line with the intimate and exclusive wilderness experience, the camp’s main area boasts a pool, reading area, dining and lounging areas.
During their stay, guests can enjoy game drives, walking safaris and mokoro safaris (water levels permitting) in search of big attractions including lion, cheetah, wild dog, elephant and hippos. The night drives allow guests to get up-close and personal with some of Africa’s elusive animals.

Setari Camp enjoys an idyllic island setting on a 50,000 hectare private concession in the Okavango Delta’s Panhandle region. The island is dotted with palm trees and offers an exclusive, water based safari experience. Activities are available all year. The camp sits atop wooden walkways and platforms to maximise views of the surrounding waterways.
All of Setari Camp’s nine large tented rooms, one being a family unit, feature en suite bathrooms with separate loo, outdoor shower and bathtub.
The central camp facilities under thatch include the dining area and a comfy indoor lounge. Outdoors, Setari Camp has a well shaded relaxation area and swimming pool. Electricity supply is available with certain limitations.
The permanent waters of the Okavango Delta’s region are renowned for their exceptional birding, and aquatic wildlife is plentiful. Larger water dependent animals such as hippo and crocodile are frequently seen.

Situated on the Thamalakane River and only 15 minutes from the town centre is Maun Waterfront Guesthouse. The guesthouse is ideal for self-drivers, overnighting before flying out or just staying in Maun briefly.
Maun Waterfront offers 8 spacious rooms which can accommodate 16 guests. There are 4 rooms upstairs and 4 downstairs. All rooms, with either a king or twin bed, aircon, fan, coffee station and a bar fridge, have en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms upstairs have sliding doors opening onto a private balcony overlooking the Thamalakane River while the downstairs rooms also have their own private verandas of the same view.
The main area of the guesthouse has an indoor seating area with a private bar, television room and a communal deck. While staying at Maun waterfront guests can book activities such as day trips into Moremi and scenic flights. Mokoro trips and sundowner boat cruises are seasonal and water level dependent.
