Sausage Tree Safari Camp is situated in the Olifants West Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Park and sanctuary to Africa’s Famous Big Five in particular the elusive Black Rhino.. With over 3500 ha of traversing including 5 kms alongside the beautiful Olifants River with opportunities of sightings of the Pels Fishing Owl.

Our friendly and experienced staff will look after your every need and our kitchen consistently produces fine fare which are some of the reasons why our camp has been rated Number 1 in Balule for over 5 years by TripAdvisor. We are solar powered.

Try our unique Sounds Safari option with our local ornithologist and sound recordist Derek Solomon. After a 2 hour audio visual presentation guests undertake a three hour minimum safari with Derek on a game viewer armed with powerful microphones and headphones.
