The Heinitzburg offers 16 spacious generously appointed en-suite rooms, each individually decorated, leaving no two rooms looking the same. Each room has individual air-conditioning / heating unit, direct telephone, electronic safe, mini bar, flat screen TV with satellite channels. The superior deluxe rooms have a bath with integrated showers, whilst the deluxe rooms all have a walk in shower.

At the hotel's serene garden, guests are welcome to relax in a private atmosphere whilst enjoying the refreshing swimming pool (heated in winter).

Hotel Heinitzburg has a variety of dining outlets. There's the gourmet restaurant overlooking the skyline of the city while serving varied cuisine ranging from local to international dishes. The Garden Terrace provides superb view over the city and the surrounding mountains. At the Garden Terrace, meals, coffee and cakes from the patisserie are served throughout the day while snacks and sundowner cocktails are served at the viewpoint with marvelous vistas of spectacular sunsets. There's also the Wine Cellar which houses a large collection of carefully selected South African vintages. The cellar is built into the mountain rock and is an ideal meeting place.

Designed for desert wanderers, Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp offers an original, exclusive wilderness experience and the opportunity to see free-ranging desert-adapted black rhino. The desert plains are starkly scenic, and home to other unique species, from Hartmann’s zebra and giraffe, to the bizarre welwitschia plant.

Designed with the desert in mind, the palette, textures and wildlife of Damaraland’s extraordinary vistas are brought into the suite interiors.

With natural stone found on site reinforcing the camp’s connection to nature, Desert Rhino Camp evokes a real sense of place in this stark desert landscape.

Six suites with deep overhanging stretch fabric roof structures, interior tones of terracotta, sage, fern green and cream, and classic details of timber and leather, create a sheltered sanctuary within this breath-taking desert landscape.

Run in conjunction with Save the Rhino Trust Namibia, Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp offers rhino tracking by vehicle and on foot with experts from this conservation NGO.
