There are fifteen 'tented' rondavels with solid foundation, thatched roof, sliding glass doors and attached bathroom (with bathtub) and outdoor stone shower. Walls and ceilings are canvas giving the feeling of being in a tent. There are ten queen rooms including a honeymoon tent and five twin rooms. Wooden decks look over the panorama of the vast Serengeti plains and most rooms enjoy an unobstructed view of the sunrise. The rooms are beautifully furnished with African hardwood furniture and hand made textiles. All beds have mosquito nets and full amenities are provided. Limited triples are possible both with three single beds and a single additional to a queen. Rooms are solar powered and utilise solar hot water.

Serengeti Simba Lodge’s six-room Stone House features two twin, two queen and two family rooms– each with two queen beds, all en-suite with flush toilet and large showers. Rooms are booked individually and are not adjoining but are adjacent. The family rooms are large enough to add an additional twin bed for a child. Amazing views across the Serengeti savannah to the distant Grumeti River add to the ambiance of the beautifully furnished rooms. You can sit and watch the wildlife drift across the Serengeti plains from the private comfort of your room in the Stone House. All rooms are solar powered and utilise solar hot water.
