Activities on Site
Big 5, Bird Watching, Game Drives, Game Viewing, Game Walks, Walks (Guided)
Our activities are very fluid and consist of a mix between game drives, walks and spending time at game watering holes. It could start as a drive from camp but rapidly change to a walk as some tracks of a herd of buffalo or the resident pride of lions is spotted. Being on foot with any of these animals is very exciting and a great experience. Whatever you see, your guide will be a fountain of information and make the outdoors come alive with his explanations and interpretations of the environment you are in. There is always time for a small mid-morning picnic to keep you going until lunch time.
Hwange Bush Camp activities consist of a mix between game drives, walks and spending time at game watering holes. Game drives are taken in open safari vehicles which have seating for 6 + 1 pax in game viewer seating. There are centre consoles for storage and ponchos or blankets are provided in the cool winter months. Generally game drives will stop for morning or afternoon tea & snacks or evening sundowners while on game drive.
Enjoy a bush dinner experience out in the wilds close to the camp. Guests can dine out under the stars and enjoy their evenings meal in the heart of Hwange National Park.
