The Augrabies Falls Rest Camp, about 50 km from Kakamas, is set in beautiful desert surroundings inside the Augrabies Falls National Park. The rest camp is large and well organised, offering a variety of accommodation, from camp sites to self catering chalets with a well equipped kitchen, barbeque facilities and air conditioning. A restaurant and shop stocking basic goods is on site.
The Augrabies Falls Rest Camp provides an excellent base from which to explore this lovely, arid Northern Cape park on foot, by mountain bike or by 4x4. The biggest waterfalls in South Africa, the stunning Augrabies Falls, are within walking distance from the Rest Camp. (ITT)
