Set in beautiful surroundings, Mount Meru Game Lodge overlooks an expansive garden Sanctuary, home to water buffalo, peacocks, yellow-billed storks, ibis and a variety of monkeys, including the elusive white-tailed Colobus. All can be viewed at your leisure from the vantage point of our alfresco restaurant shaded by giant mature mango trees. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), the Lodge is the ideal start (or end) point for your northern circuit safari. The original farmhouse in which now stands our bar, lounge and dining room, was originally established as a family holiday home in 1959. The past two years have seen extensive renovations to the property: 4 new ensuite guest rooms built to bring our total to 24; a series of accessible walkways added; the installation of a view deck under the shade of a magnificent cactus tree overlooking the river; and the complete overhaul of the 20 existing rooms to reveal new bathrooms, heightened ceilings and refreshed decor. All while maintaining the historical feeling of our special property, and its hospitable heart. Ngorongoro Farmhouse Lodge is situated beneath the majestic Oldeani Volcano, and boasts easy access to both the untamed wilderness of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as well as the simple pleasure of a ramble through 500 acres of farmland.
Ngorongoro Farm House was inaugurated on February 20th 2003, and is offering 52 room cottages, 49 standard rooms and 3 suite rooms, all with ample space inside, built on the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials and full of details of good taste, with the purpose of offering our clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone.

Migration Camp moves seasonally between Ndutu and Northern Serengeti, following the herds of wildebeest as they travel from Ndutu, Southern part of Serengeti to the Northern part where they cross into the Masai Mara.
