Kilo Bravo, Kaskazi's horse base is in USA River /Maji Ya Chai, just a short drive away from the Villas. The ride takes place on Dolly Estate and whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced
rider, there is an opportunity and experience for everyone. Those with little riding experience can enjoy a gentle hack along dusty tracks where wildebeest and antelopes graze contentedly. Led by experienced guides, one can explore the meandering paths, spotting a rich array of wildlife along your way. Regularly seen on Dolly estate is one of the most elegant mammals found in Tanzania, the Gerenuk. We offer morning and afternoon rides, 2-hour ride (depending on pace). The morning rides departs at 08:00 AM and the afternoon rides departs at 14:30 PM. We are flexible with time however these are the best hours of the day to be out in the bush on horseback. Some people like to combine the morning ride with a lunch /brunch at the polo club afterwards, if this is of interest please let us know and we will book lunch /brunch for your group in advanced (its possible to pay the club in cash directly for food and drinks). The afternoon ride could be combined with a nice cold sundowner at the club, if this is of interest let us know in advanced so that we can plan accordingly (its possible to pay with cash at the club). For lunch or sundowners, we will then ride on horseback to the polo club and finish the ride there. Thereafter arrangements will have to be made for the transport to picky up directly from the club rather then from Kilo Bravo, the horse base.
Walking distance from Kilivilla, lies Tanzanias only Championship Golf course. A beautifully landscaped golf course with challenging water hazards including the resident crocodile offers an amazing golf experience with great views of the surrounding mountains.
Enjoy a peaceful and scenic canoeing safari following the shorelines of small Momella Lake inside Arusha National Park. On this 2-3-hour canoe safari you can expect to see buffaloes, bushbuck, giraffes, hippos, water birds and beautiful views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. A well-trained guide will accompany the safari. He will tell you about the natural world in and around this lake.

You can enjoy game drives from here on a shared or on exclusive use basis. We use closed 4 x 4 Land Cruiser vehicles. A balloon safari offers an opportunity to see the wildlife areas from a unique perspective. Take in the wilderness below as you silently float over the vast plains (in whichever direction the wind takes you). Follow a large herd of elephants, see a lion stalk its prey, or just marvel at the magnificent scenery before touching down for a bush breakfast like no other. If you only take one balloon flight in your life, this is the place to do it.
No safari is complete without experiencing a traditional outdoor, open-air lunch or dinner. Relax under the natural canopy of an acacia tree, while your personal butler serves up a feast. The best way to make this activity work is to have your guide take you on a game drive as normal and meet our guides at the Endala picnic site either in the morning or the afternoon. As andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is situated in the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, game drives take a significant amount of time to reach the crater’s floor and return to the lodge. This means that you will most likely be offered the choice of one morning or afternoon game drive per day. You will descend into the crater through a lush highland forest, with magnificent birdlife to be spotted among the different tree species. Once on the grassy crater floor, you may discover a large variety of grazing herbivores, as well as the predators that are attracted by this abundant supply of prey. Depending on the time of year, you may see huge flocks of pink flamingo around the shores of the shallow Lake Magadi, while the surrounding swamp is inhabited by hippo. While the Ngorongoro Crater boasts an incredible abundance of wildlife, you will most likely also encounter a great number of other vehicles during the high season, especially at high interest sightings. On the other hand, the rainy season is much quieter, allowing for a far more private game drive. Safari vehicles are closed, with glass windows and a pop-up roof. Off-road driving is not permitted.
Explore the breathtaking surrounds of the archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of mankind, best known as home of the earliest remains of homo sapiens, discovered by Mary Leaky. Move on to crescent-shaped volcanic ash dunes knows as Shifting Sands, which slowly creep across the desert floor in response to prevailing winds.

Enjoy half a day with the KopeLion team and discover how these dedicated conservationists are fostering lion-people coexistence within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Working closely with local communities, they are creating a sustainable ‘corridor of tolerance’ that will re-connect the divided Crater and Serengeti lion sub-populations, ensuring their long-term survival. This insightful experience will give you the opportunity to understand the challenges and complexities of wildlife and human coexistence.
Accompanied by a KopeLion team member, you’ll be driven through Maasai villages, and a diversity of habitats, from the lush Crater rim, through sparse grasslands, and into a beautiful secluded forest spot. Lemala Nanyukie Lodge | Eastern Serengeti
Lemala Nanyukie is located just outside of the Seronera circuit, allowing for some private game viewing of its world famous concentration of cats and resident wildlife, due to its abundance of water in the many rivers. Between April and June, and again between November and January, this area is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration, which always provides a thrilling wildlife spectacle. Lemala Nanyukie has a large, open floor lounge and bar area that has a variety of inside and outside seating. The inside lounge areas offer lots of discreet hideaways to retreat too. Whether your preference is a private space by the fireplace, or big comfortable sofas sharing experiences with fellow travellers – there’s space for all. You can enjoy game drives from here on a shared or on exclusive use basis. We use a combination of open and closed 4 x 4 Land Cruiser vehicles. Very reliable, comfortable and well-maintained with charging facilities, fridge on board, photography stabilizing bean bags, vehicle recovery equipment, VHF Radio communication, specialized guide books, first aid kit, seatbelts, binoculars and last but not least, great guides who undergo bi-yearly training with our internal and external guide trainers.
