Our experienced guides will lead you to some of the most breathtaking views of the area, where you'll experience the magic of the safari—spotting elephants, lions, and cheetahs, among other fascinating wildlife unique to the Maasai Mara. Each game drive can be shared or used exclusively, offering a unique experience, with the best sightings usually occurring early mornings or late afternoons. These drives typically last up to two hours, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness.
A wonderful way to experience the magnificent landscape and amazing wildlife from a different perspective. A true highlight of every Safari in East Africa! We are glad to book and organize a memorable Balloon Safari with the most professional Balloon Company for you. The Balloon crew will pick you up as early as 5am for a drive to the starting point of the ride. Enjoy a one-hour ride above the exquisite Savanna with your experienced Balloon Pilot. A sumptuous Champagne breakfast awaits you upon landing to crown the memorable experience.

The most romantic idea (weather permitting) is to have a dinner for 2 under the stars. It is perfect for honeymooners or anyone who wants more than the usual privacy. A table is set up away from the main dining mess tent, surrounded by trees and bushes. Lanterns are placed to add to the romantic set-up, just for you and your partner.
Your personal waiter will serve you a four-course delicious barbecued-style meal. A bottle of wine (red /white) and unlimited soft drinks are available, compliments of the house.
Please note that this experience is designed for adults only. Have you ever dreamed of exploring the African bush on foot? Our experienced Walking Team, accompanied by an armed ranger, will guide you on an exclusive walking safari outside the reserve. Discover the small five and learn to identify animal tracks and droppings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.
Elevate your adventure by identifying bones and skeletons amidst the breathtaking panoramic views of the savanna. Walks are available in the morning or afternoon, lasting 2-3 hours, or tailored to your preference for a shorter duration.
During your afternoon game drive, you will discover a table & camping chairs set up in the savanna. This is a private arrangement, especially for you! Choose from a selection of spirits, house wine, beer, and soft drinks.
Get spoilt with homemade canapés as the sun sets over the African plains, serenaded by the enchanting sounds of the night setting in.
Experience a magical Private Bush Breakfast in the African wilderness. You'll be escorted to a picturesque location with stunning panoramic views of the iconic Mara plains, where our skilled chef and his team await to serve a delectable feast that will satisfy your appetite after an eventful game drive.
Enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai Village and discover their “way of life” as it was a hundred years ago and still is today. The Maasai are an old nomadic tribe that lives in harmony with nature and is one of the few remaining tribes in Kenya that tends to hold on to their traditions. Your guide will transfer you to/from the village.
Please note that we support the local community in the area with this village visit as most proceeds will go to them directly. Ask the Manager for more information and how to book.
As part of Soroi Luxury Migration Camp's commitment to conservation and sustainability, we are actively fighting deforestation in the Mara ecosystem. We invite guests to take a hands-on approach and participate in this activity, which is suitable for young and old. The cost is for the purchasing of endemic trees.
The Trust is located right on the edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the little town of Sekenani. The Olmalaika Home - is a safe haven for girls under the age of 12 yrs all the way down to newborns that have endured trauma in their lives, such as female genital mutilation, childhood marriage, rape, incest, assault, abuse, abandonment, etc. The Trust not only provides a safe and loving home where they can find healing but also enables them to get their education.
On weekends and holidays, you can visit the home and spend time with the girls, listen to them sing and dance, participate in a typical "day of the girl child" where you might wash clothes in the river, make chapatis, drink some tea made over the fire in their traditional manyatta or simply allow them to teach you how to make a beaded bracelet to take home. On weekdays, when they are in school, you can visit the home and meet the staff, play or feed the babies, hear about the girl's stories, and possibly sample some fresh fruit or vegetables from their garden. The Trust is dependent on donations but is working on becoming self-sustaining by harvesting and selling honey from their own hives and through the Olmalaika Trust Days for Girls Enterprise - where the staff makes fabric reusable menstrual kits. Each kit purchased is given to school girls in Kenya so that no girl will miss school because of her period.
An exciting adventure awaits the young ones at Mara Bush Camp with various activities conducted by our Maasai guide and our Camp Manager. The children will have a rare opportunity to learn the Maasai ways of life and their daily chores such as cooking African food, the art of stringing real Maasai beads, playing typical board games, listening to African stories, reading Children story books available in both English & German as well as playing with African toys. Parents are encouraged to discuss the activities beforehand with our Camp Manager.
