Thanda Tented Camp | Thanda Safari
Thanda Safari is a Big 5 private game reserve offering three very different properties, each with its own style, atmosphere and appeal.
Thanda Tented Camp, with its 14 grand tents and 1 grande deluxe tent, offers a truly relaxed and authentic safari experience.
It comprises 14 spacious tents, each with a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathroom. In addition, the 15th tent, the Jabula Tent, is particularly suited to bridal couples, honeymooners, families and those seeking extra beautiful accommodation for special occasions.
The camp is non-electrified, however, it does have limited solar and battery power with a back-up generator to power the tents for a few hours each day for guests to charge cameras and phones. As a deterrent to wild animals, there is a partial electrified fence along the perimeter of Thanda Tented Camp. Wifi is available in the public areas.
The camp’s shared areas include a reception area, a curio shop, a Hemingway-style lounge area, a dining area featuring authentic African curios, a large rim-flow pool surrounded by loungers and umbrellas, a waterhole to entice large and small game and a boma.
Thanda Tented Camp does not admit children under 6 years old.

Wilderness Davison's | Eastern Hwange National Park
Nestled discreetly beneath a grove of false mopane trees, Wilderness Davison's is located in the private Linkwasha Concession - one of the most prolific wildlife areas in Hwange National Park. Hidden within a treeline, this African safari camp, overlooks an open plain and a waterhole that attracts large numbers of animals, especially thirsty herds of elephant and buffalo in the dry season.
Guests staying in one of Wilderness Davison’s nine tents (including a family room) can enjoy the quintessential Hwange experience, viewing the wildlife on game drives and guided nature walks in this diverse and exciting area. Arranged directly in camp only, and subject to vehicle availability, it may be possible to include a visit to one of the local villages. Game drives take place in open 4x4 vehicles, and are led by our highly experienced guides through our private Wilderness concessions which are situated in the most productive areas of Hwange National Park. The varied habitats and vegetation types, as well as countless waterholes, mean that drives are exciting with diverse species to be seen.
The Hwange 'night act' includes nocturnal species such as lesser bushbaby, spotted hyaena, leopard, lion, Selous mongoose, pangolin, caracal, porcupine, scrub hare, springhare and even honey badger.
Hwange was proclaimed some 80 years ago and has served as a haven for one of the densest concentrations of game in Africa. There is no better way to experience this park than on foot with an experienced, qualified walking safari guide.
Meet and interact with the Zimbabwe Parks, Wildlife Management Authority (ZPWMA) and Scorpion Anti-Poaching Unit who work in partnership with Wilderness, to protect the south-eastern region of Hwange. Thereby, reducing poaching within the park through funding, assisting in patrols and removing snares.

An authentic village experience takes place in a manner that is respectful to all parties. This half day excursion is led by one of the local villagers or a Wilderness guide. 2 Classic Suites with 1 x king-size bed & 1 x ¾ bed in each suite. The Classic Suites are situated at the very top of the hotel with amazing views of the Victoria Falls.
