Porini Amboseli Camp is small and is on the lines of the traditional luxury safari camp, but with more comfortable bathroom arrangements than were available to the big game hunters of earlier years. The camp facilities include 10 spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet and solar power electric lighting. The camp provides an exclusive experience catering to a maximum of 18 guests at a time with all meals, drinks (wine, gin & tonic, beer, sodas, mineral water). All activities including game drives, walks, night drives and sundowners are included in the price and transport on this safari is in a specially designed open-sided Landrover 4 wheel drive safari vehicle. Going on safari in a 'proper' safari vehicle gives a far better safari experience than travelling in the minibus vans with window seats used by other tour operators. And as Selenkay Conservation Area is a private game reserve, you will not see any other vehicles or minibuses.

The Porini Ol Kinyei Safari Cottages are your home away from home in the world renowned Maasai Mara offering every comfort with the distinct warm service of the Maasai and an unbeaten wildlife experience.
A unique “home away from home” with stunning views across the Mara in the only IUCN Green List Protected area in the Mara eco-system with some of the highest big cat densities and the location of the annual Loita wildebeest calving every year in February and March, with the local community members who know this land intimately as your hosts.
Each of the 4 four-bedroom safari high end safari cottages is on a hillside location with spectacular views over the open plains below. There is a large wildlife dam down from the cottages which is a big draw for wildlife including lions and elephants. The cottages are designed to maximize on these views whilst minimizing the visual impact from the plains.
Each Cottage has four spacious bedrooms, all with private bathroom en-suites. A common lounge with a fireplace for the cold evenings and media room for kids to have a place to unwind, remote working, reviewing and editing the days photography and so much more.

Porini Lion Camp is located in unique and stunning setting on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. This large area borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. There is unsurpassed game-viewing within the conservancy due to its unspoiled natural state and the Porini Lion Camp – with just ten tents including two family units – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush. The Olare Motorogi Conservancy ensures a true wilderness experience with one of the lowest tourist densities in the Mara region and the highest lion densities. The only safari vehicles allowed are the few 4x4s related to the 5 small camps within this vast area and there is a rich and diverse wildlife population with good numbers of predators and herbivores.
