McBrides' Camp is situated in one of the last true wilderness areas of Kafue National Park, far removed from roads and human presence. Kafue River Lodge is based in the Lunga Luswishi Game Management area bordering Kafue National Park. The lodge is set on 143 Hectares of private land. They have a range of biomes around, from miombo woodland to plains, dambos, teak forests, each supporting great numbers of game and excellent birding. Most of the activities are operated inside Kafue National Park, they do also offer safaris in Mushingashi, Lunga Luswishi and has good access to Busanga Plains when the water levels are down.
