Gweta Lodge is located in the quiet village of Gweta, Botswana, and is a few minutes drive from Gweta Airport. Accommodation at the lodge features huts decorated in traditional African style. Ntwetwe Pan lies to the west of Sua. There is an old trading route used by the European explorers, including David Livingstone passes through the center of Ntwetwe. There are two famous isolated baobabs in the center of the pan Green's Baobab and Chapman's Baobab that have served as landmarks for travelers for centuries. You can see Greens and Livingstone's initials carved into their trunks.

In a land so flat and desolate any landmarks are something to take note of and there are several island dunes, the largest of which is Gabasadi Island is the largest of these. There are several Stone Age sites scattered among the smaller pans on the western shore of Ntwetwe. You can also find the remains of San pit traps nearby.

This pan is dry most of the year when the unusual rock formations can be seen. Ntwetwe Pan, Botswana is covered in water in the Wet Season and bird and game viewing is at its most spectacular when viewed from the air.

Moremi lies on the Eastern Extremity of the Okavango Delta, Habitats range from wide open floodplains,marshes,lagoons, papyrus fringed channels, vast stands f reeds, mixed woodland and open grassland. As a result of the extremely variable habitat the diversity of both wildlife and birdlife is excellent. Moremi is amongst the best game reserves in Africa for viewing the endangered African wild dog. It is home to the resident herd of several buffalo whose range cover the territories of many prides of lion which may be seen flanking the ever moving herds. Breeding herds of elephant move between their browsing areas and the Mopane Forrests and the fresh water of the Okavango.

Your private camp is located on an exclusive nature camping site, inside the Chobe National Park, which gives you the advantage of being on the sites from sunrise. 4x4 game drives in search of wildlife is your focus here. Your days are spent exploring this region in a vehicle specially designed to optimize your opportunities for observations and photographs. A mobile safari remains a universal experience. As soon as you arrive in the National Parks and Reserves of Botswana, you are surrounded by unspoiled and barricaded wilderness. The activities vary by region but your days follow almost the same rhythm, with the exception of travel days, moving from one destination to another. While in Camp, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of your private camp with your fellow travellers, while enjoying the signs and sounds of the savannah.

Semi - Luxury Tented accommodation

Spacious walk-in tented accommodation. These tents are designed to give great ventilation during the heat of the day and are installed with a fly sheet to offer even deeper shade. The Meru tent measures 8.5m x 4m which includes a 2m x 4m bathroom and veranda of 1.5m x 4m. Here you have to choice of a double bed or 2 single beds, linen and towels, and a bedside table illuminated by a 12v battery powered light at night. At the rear of your tent there is a 3m x 2m en-suite bathroom with open top, accommodating a shower and toilet area. This bathroom is very safe to use even in the middle of the night. The shower consists of a shower bucket (a collapsible canvas bucket with a shower rose at the bottom) which hangs from a metal pole or tree branch and is filled with warm water when you are ready to take your shower.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

The close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes it easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge. The lodge has been recently renovated; matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.
