Part of a mixed Tibetan/Lisu farming community, Songtsam Tacheng enjoys a comfortable climate and boasts the region’s most fertile land. All spacious yet cozy rooms face beautiful terraced rice fields. This lodge is elegantly designed to showcase fine Chinese art and style; big windows and balconies enable guests to take in the beautiful rural scenery from the lodge. The year-round mild climate yields an abundance of fruits and nuts, growing alongside terraced fields of rice, wheat, and grapes.

Songtsam Tacheng Lodge provides a bar, garden and terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Songtsam Benzilan Lodge was built in 2011 and is nestled in a remote green valley on the banks of the Yangtze River just 10 minutes from the Tibetan town of Benzilan. Accommodation is provided in 10 spacious superior rooms all decorated in modern Sino-Tibetan style. Facilities at the lodge include a meditation room/library, a restaurant, Wi-Fi in public areas and a rooftop terrace. Activities offered by the lodge include guided mountain and forest hikes, bowl painting workshops, meditation practice with a Tibetan master, guided walks through the valley and the Tibetan villages, village black pottery classes and guided tours to the Dongzhulin Monastery.
