11 DAYS - FISH EAGLE SAFARI (BST004)

Okavango Channels and Plains | Okavango Delta

Okavango Channels and Plains sets out to explore the wildlife-rich savannahs of the south-eastern corner of the Okavango as well as the waterways of the Delta in the summer months. At this time of year many species give birth to their young, with predators taking full advantage of the abundance of inexperienced younger prey. Birding is also outstanding due to the presence of the summer migrants. The adventure starts by road, taking in a few of the local communities en route to Gomoti Tented Camp. Air transfers allow a bird’s-eye view of the shimmering landscape. Activities include walks, and day and night wildlife viewing – on land and water.

BRIEF ITINERARY
Days 1–3: Gomoti Tented Camp, south-east Okavango Delta
Days 4–6: Xigera Camp, heart of the Okavango Delta
Day 7: Air transfer to Maun

Please note: This Exploration runs between November and April.
