Amankora Gangtey Lodge is situated in the Phobjikha Valley, near the village of Gangtey. The lodge offers views of the 16th-century Gangtey Goemba monastery and the valley floor. Guests can explore the Black Mountains National Park, home to endangered black-neck cranes. The lodge's suites feature king-size beds, wood-burning stoves, and window seats. Dining options include a dining room with large family-style tables and floor-to-ceiling windows. At our Paro luxury hotel, each double room overlooks the pine forests surrounding the resort, while traditional hand-painted Bhutanese designs decorate the walls.

Among Bhutan luxury hotels, few have Paro Valley views like this. Larger than our Forest View Rooms, these deluxe accommodations also have a bathtub and separate shower stall.

These oversized suites have separate dining, sitting and study areas as well as a kitchenette. The sophisticated, residential feel is why the COMO Suites are popular with those on a Bhutan honeymoon. In addition, views from the king-size bed open up to 180-degree spreads of the Paro Valley.
