Toast the end of your safari day with a private sundowner in a hand-picked location overlooking the plains or river bends. As the sky turns gold and crimson, enjoy your favourite drink and light bites, making this a quintessential Mara safari ritual.
Begin your day with a truly unforgettable experience, a gourmet breakfast set beside the iconic hippo pool of the Mara River. As the early morning light casts golden hues over the savannah, enjoy a freshly prepared spread of hot and cold dishes, accompanied by freshly brewed coffee, juices, and a touch of sparkling “bubbly” to celebrate the moment.
The soundtrack of grunting hippos, bird calls, and the rustling of the riverbank wildlife makes this setting unlike any other. With attentive service and a front-row seat to nature’s theatre, the Hippo Pool Breakfast offers a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity, creating a memory you’ll carry long after your safari.
Dine under the vast skies of the Masai Mara with a signature BBQ feast in the wild. Set in a carefully chosen bush clearing, this experience combines the thrill of dining in nature with the warmth of African hospitality. Guests are welcomed to a beautifully set open-air venue where chefs prepare a lavish barbecue of freshly grilled meats, fish, and vegetarian specialties, complemented by an array of side dishes and salads.
Whether enjoyed as a sunlit bush lunch or a starlit dinner by lantern light, the atmosphere is magical, with the crackle of the fire, the scents of the grill, and the sounds of the Mara’s wildlife as your backdrop. This is not just a meal, but a celebration of the land, offering an unforgettable balance of authentic safari adventure and refined culinary flair.
Step into the vibrant traditions of one of Africa’s most iconic communities with a visit to a local Maasai village. Guided by Maasai hosts, you’ll discover their centuries-old way of life, from cattle herding and warrior traditions to their striking beadwork and dances. Guests are invited to engage with the community, ask questions, and learn about how the Maasai balance modern influences while preserving their cultural identity. This authentic encounter is both enriching and respectful, offering a deeper understanding of the people who have called the Mara home for generations.
Soar above the endless savannah on an unforgettable hot air balloon safari. As dawn breaks, you’ll drift silently over the plains, watching the sunrise cast golden light across the Maasai Mara. From this unique vantage point, see herds of elephants, giraffes, and antelope moving below, and if timed during the Great Migration, witness the spectacle of wildebeest crossings from the air. After landing, the adventure continues with a champagne-style bush breakfast set in the wild. This once-in-a-lifetime experience combines aerial adventure with safari romance, creating memories that will last forever.

Luxury Tented Suite
The camp has 10 accommodation tents, each measuring 45 square metres to include a private verandah. A two-bedroomed family tent is available for guests travelling with (small) children.
Each tent sits atop a wooden platform raised 30 centimeters from the ground and has a generous sleeping area complete with lounge space. An ensuite bathroom with “his and hers” wash hand basins, large shower and proper flush toilet complete each guest tent. The family tent is appointed to the same high standards.
A great deal of thought has gone into the detail of each tent and, as you would expect in a property of this standard, an in-tent safe, hairdryer, toweling robes, a gas fired heater for use on cold nights, leather fasteners with brass buckles on windows and doors and an array of other carefully thought out finishing touches are only some of the surprises we have in store for our guests.

Dawn is the best time to wake and prepare for your game drive on safari. The invigorating smells of early morning coffee mixed with fresh dew grass and wild earth awaken the soul. The sun rises in a ball of oranges and silhouettes behind our camp.
There is always something fascinating to see on a game drive: a rainbow-coloured Lilac Breasted Roller, your first sighting of a herd of Elephants migrating to the Maasai marshes for their lunchtime thirst quench, a pride of Lions or the twitching tail of a Leopard lazing in a Sausage Tree. You will find yourselves captivated, reawakened, breathing in the natural scents and sounds of an untamed wilderness. Wildlife in the Serengeti National Park can be enjoyed in its natural habitat.
