Wilderness DumaTau’s extensive lagoon frontage ensures that each ultra-spacious 142 m2 guest suite has uninterrupted views over Osprey Lagoon, and the movements of the mega-herds of elephants the Linyanti is so famous for.
All seven twin tented suites and one family unit have a private plunge pool and an inviting lounge, and feature a spacious bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. The main dining and lounge areas boast unimpeded wide-angle vistas overlooking the wildlife-rich lagoon, while the centrally located Osprey Retreat wellness centre and gym – shared with Wilderness Little DumaTau – includes an inviting shaded deck, a lap pool, spa, a drinks and snack counter, and Safari Boutique. Wilderness DumaTau runs on 100% solar energy.
INSIDER'S TIP: The Linyanti is recognised as an IBA (Important Bird Area), so the hides and platforms in the area are ideal for bird watching and photographing wildlife.

Each guest suite has a comfortable and inviting indoor lounge, as well as spacious bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers.
The luxurious guest suites are raised off the ground to take full advantage of the outstanding riverfront views. A sliding gauze door in the back of the tent improves airflow through the suite, while the en-suite facilities include a sliding fabric wall that can be closed to ensure absolute privacy. An extended deck, with private plunge pool, and awnings create a relaxing shaded space to soak in the views and watch the wildlife moving past.
Located in the heart of the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, the ultra-spacious family unit offers uninterrupted views over the water, a comfortable indoor lounge area, and a private plunge pool with outdoor sala. The family unit can accommodate four guests in two rooms, with each room having its own en-suite facilities.

Explore the wilderness on twice daily game drives, and encounter the rich wildlife of the Linyanti. The open 4x4 vehicles allow us to host four guests at a time, with each guest having a ‘window’ seat, thereby offering a more exclusive experience and dedicated time with your passionate guide. Highlights include witnessing fascinating predator interactions, and large elephant herds. Plains game, and the amazing birdlife diversity, offer fantastic sightings as well.
Experience the thrill of a night drive using spotlights to find some of the most amazing, elusive nocturnal animals. These often include lesser bushbabies, spring hares, aardwolf, servals, large spotted genets and, if you are extremely lucky, the elusive pangolin.
Walking in the wild with skilled, armed guides are a wonderful way of being closer to nature. Observe the smaller creatures that you may miss when travelling by vehicle.

Explore the Linyanti River by barge, perfect for lunches, picnics, or sundowners. Glide past sleeping hippos, or find crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks of the lagoon. Water-based game viewing at its finest.

Boating is another idyllic form of water wildlife viewing in the remarkable Linyanti. Search for those elusive birds so prevalent in calm channel waters.

Fishing is on a catch and release basis, with camp providing a small stock of basic rods and reels, whereas all fly fishing equipment is to be supplied by guests if required.

Birding is outstanding here, from Okavango specials to mopane woodland species. The Savuti Channel is famous for its high concentration of eagles and raptors. This paradise is internationally recognised as an IBA (Important Bird Area) so do keep your binoculars close at hand!

Wilderness Qorokwe | Okavango Delta

The name Qorokwe means 'the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water' and is evocative of the high-density game area in which the camp is situated. The diverse habitats of the south-eastern Okavango support a wealth of wildlife, earning the area’s well-deserved reputation as a top Botswana safari destination.
Situated between two permanent rivers in the Okavango Delta, Wilderness Qorokwe is beautiful year-round.
Wilderness Qorokwe has nine tented suites, one of which is a spacious family unit with a private plunge pool. En-suite facilities feature an indoor shower with an inward opening door giving the illusion of an outdoor shower experience. Built on elevated wooden platforms, the main area includes a dining room, lounge, library, bar and an infinity pool overlooking an expansive lagoon. Highlights of Wilderness Qorokwe’s dining experiences include festive boma evenings and scrumptious pizzas from the camp’s bespoke oven.

A luxurious and contemporary camp in a spectacular setting, Wilderness Qorokwe offers eight twin-bedded tents, plus a spacious family unit with its own private plunge pool. Raised decking connects guest tents to the main area, while mindfully maintaining wildlife crossings. With more than a kilometre (over half a mile) of walkways, guests can enjoy wholesome and scenic exercise within the camp.
The design inspiration for the camp comes from its natural setting in this extraordinary Botswana landscape. The result is a rich mix of natural materials and colours throughout. Bleached timbers, darker stains and accents of rust and burnt orange are used throughout. The materials chosen to build the camp include steel frames with infill panels to insulate against the heat and cold, as well as canvas and timber decks. Detailed timber ceilings perforated with light, mimic the experience of being beneath the trees at the side of the lagoon, creating a visual union with its beautiful surroundings.
Qorokwe has a very spacious family tent with its own private plunge pool and outdoor deck with shaded loungers, as well as a shared indoor lounge, dining area and fireplace.The main bedroom has an indoor bath.
Organic shapes, and textural contrast – from timber to steel and canvas – add warmth and comfort with understated luxury.

The Qorokwe Concession is defined by the Gomoti Channel in the east, while a large part of it lies across the Santantadibe River to the west. The safari traversing area comprises typical Okavango Delta habitats: seasonal palm-dotted floodplains, wooded islands, tranquil waterways, and dry woodland areas. This variety of habitats, plus the fact that the Qorokwe Concession has permanent water all year round, allows for a unique diversity of wildlife and outstanding game viewing during every season. Concentrations of larger predators may include lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyaena, and African wild dog. While various plains species typically seen are herds of giraffe, zebra, red lechwe and gnarled buffalo bulls.
Scan the bushveld during an evening drive for magical nocturnal mammals such as civets, genets, bushbabies, and owls.
A walking safari offers you the exciting opportunity of coming across big game on foot, as well as observing the smaller things you miss when travelling by vehicle. Step out in the wilderness with our skilled guides, and feel the thrill of being at one with nature.

There is no better way of viewing the Delta and its wildlife than by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). Float along a crystal-clear waterway as you search for painted reed frogs, and beautiful waterlilies.

The camp itself overlooks a lagoon which is a magnet for avian wildlife. Game drives take place twice daily, in the early morning and late afternoon into the evening, in open 4-wheel-drive safari vehicles. The vehicles allow guides to venture beyond established roads, providing guests with closer wildlife encounters and excellent photographic opportunities.
Experienced guides interpret the bush in real time, using tracks, alarm calls, bird activity and other signs to locate and follow wildlife. Each drive offers the opportunity to experience the natural rhythms of the reserve while gaining insight into animal behaviour and the surrounding ecosystem.
Guests can unwind with relaxing spa treatments, available in the privacy of their room or at the tranquil spa. Treatments are offered in partnership with a leading holistic spa and skincare company, using natural, African-inspired products and therapies.
For those who wish to stay active during their stay, the lodge also offers a dedicated gym equipped for a range of workouts. The combination of restorative spa treatments and fitness facilities allows guests to tailor their wellness experience to their own pace.
Tailored walking experiences are available with an experienced guide, with strict safety protocols followed throughout. Subject to weather and conditions, walking is generally offered during the drier winter months, when visibility through the bush is improved and conditions are more comfortable.
On foot, guests experience the bush from a different perspective, learning to track wildlife and observe smaller game, insects, birds and plants that can easily be missed from a vehicle.
