The crown jewels of La Plume are the five Superior Suites. Their private entrances open onto sunny verandas overlooking the expansive gardens ebbing away until your gaze meets the Swartberg Mountains in the distance. Indulge in the luxury of these Suites, adorned with rich fabrics, ostrich leather and carefully selected antiques where modern amenities and abundant comforts like cut crystal glasses were used to enhance your stay. The spacious open plan lounges boast comfortable arm chairs from where you can enjoy the view or a movie on the big screen TV. Disappear amongst bubbles in the large free standing tub positioned in the centre of the under floor heated bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet.

The Plume Cottage consist of two interconnecting suites each with its own bedroom, full bathroom and lounge sharing a kitchenette. The Cottage is the ideal accommodation solution for your family or friends travelling together. Whether you choose the comfort of the veranda for a game of cards or just relaxing on the loungers underneath the big old date palm, you will have a bird’s eye view of your children playing on the vast rolling lawns. The peace and tranquility extends to the interior with the children having their own, separate suite via an inter-leading door. Both bathrooms have Victorian tubs, separate showers and double basins in marble-topped antiques.

Experience life on an African Ostrich Farm like never before. This typical South African farm house is off the main property nestled among alfalfa fields overlooking ostrich enclosures and a mere 100 meters from the main homestead. The villa has 2 bedrooms each with its own full en-suite bathroom with all bathroom amenities, fluffy white towels and robes, a large open plan living- and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea facilities. The main suite has a king-size bed with both an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a deep-soaking tub. The second bedroom has twin beds with an indoor shower.

Situated along a wooden walkway, our two suites provide luxury accommodation at Hlosi Game Lodge. The two-bedroom suites each have their own private decks, overlooking the vast plains below the lodge, and the perfect spot for families to gather and spend some quality time. Each bedroom is en-suite, with a shower and a deep-soaking tub. The main en-suite is fitted with an outdoor shower as an extra option.

Mosquito nets are provided in all suites. The suite’s lounge is the perfect place to relax after a family game drive, with teas & coffee facilities and a minibar stocked with an array of selected beverages. The two-bedroom suites are a superb accommodation option for families or for friends traveling together.

The Luxury Family Safari Tent has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed while the second has twin beds. A full en-suite bathroom joins the rooms. The tent is built on a raised wooden platform with three viewing decks offering a 180-degree viewing experience.

Hlosi’s Luxury Family Tents offer families a memorable tented safari experience without compromising on luxury or comfort. Our 2-bedroom tents have all the modern conveniences, including the full en-suite bathroom (shared between rooms), air conditioners, electric blankets and minibar. At the same time, our guests can experience the wonder of being in a tent in the African bush, and feel the immediacy of the surrounding landscape. The main bedroom has a lounge area with a minibar and tea-coffee facilities and opens on two sides onto the viewing deck.

The tents are set on a raised wooden platform, and have 180-degree wraparound viewing decks, providing panoramic views across the gently sloping grassland valley. From the comfort of these viewing decks, guests can spot the elephant, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, buck, warthog, zebra and other wildlife that roam the valley. The main deck faces the sunset and is perfect for a private sundowner experience.
