The luxury Victoria Falls Safari Club is an exclusive 20 bedroom lodge situated within the magnificent grounds of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, overlooking a private waterhole. The Safari Club lies just 4 km from the thundering Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. It has its own waterhole so that you can enjoy game viewing without stepping a foot outside the lodge. Watch the breathtaking African sunset and view the game coming to drink at the waterhole from your private balcony, pool deck or restaurant.
The Victoria Falls Safari Club has 16 rooms and 4 suites. The luxurious rooms have uninterrupted views of the bushveld, gorgeous sunsets and waterhole. Room facilities include a complimentary mini bar, large laptop-sized safe, international multi sockets, expresso machine, sliding glass doors and gauze screens to your balcony, wifi and air-conditioning. The en suite bathroom is semi-open plan, being behind the bedroom and bed, with enclosed toilet. The suites are similarly appointed but with a spacious sitting room. Families (they take kids over 10 years old) can be accommodated in inter-leading rooms or using the sleeper couch in the sitting area. (We recommend the Victoria Falls Safari Suites for families with younger kids.)
The hotel has its own restaurant and lounge with complimentary afternoon tea and pastries, sundowners and snacks. Alternatively the Boma Restaurant offers a festive African-style feast with entertainment. The Safari Club operates as a ‘hotel within a hotel’ so guests staying here can enjoy the restaurants of the larger hotel, the spa, the Vulture Culture experience and then retreat into the serenity of their own lounge and bar areas.
Activities on offer include the daily Vulture Culture experience and the hide for keen birders. The Safari Spa (shared with Victoria Falls Safari Lodge) offers a variety of treatments including aromatherapy, reflexology, massages, beauty & body treatments and sauna. A courtesy bus runs every hour and takes you to and from the town and Victoria Falls, both just five minutes away.

Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of Hwange National Park. Hwange is known as the land of the giants for its big elephant herds. Nestled in a stunning location tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, Somalisa Camp provides views of the open savanna plains across the famous Kennedy Vlei.
Somalisa Camp is an intimate authentic safari camp with just 7 elegantly furnished canvas tents. Each has an en suite bathroom, flush toilet and romantic al fresco bush shower (soon to be converted to running water showers). The décor in the main lounge and dining area echoes of an era extending from the colonial day to the ancient tribes of Africa and tells stories from all corners of this magnificent continent. The main deck includes a small splash pool overlooking the natural pan where herds of game congregate to drink. Here you can relax whilst soaking in the African bush. The use of solar lighting ensures your comfort without interfering with the environment and the area's natural surroundings.
Seven stylishly furnished '"sail" tented suites all have gauze sliding doors, glass wood-burner fireplace for the cold winter nights, and in-room fans for the hot summer days. Each has en suite bathroom facilities with indoor and outdoor showers, as well as a copper slipper-style bathtub.
Activities include guided walks lead by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, 4x4 game drives as well as night drives. Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, white rhino, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species. After the first rains, the Kennedy Vlei is alive with flamboyant colours from the seasonal wildflowers that emerge - making it one of the prettiest areas in Hwange National Park.
