iKWETA Safari Camp is a convenient base for exploring the complete wilderness of Meru National Park, one of Kenya’s most beautiful national parks and the land of the “Big-Five” – elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard. The park is also a birdwatchers’ paradise with over 400 bird species reported.
The Camp comprises 10 spacious guest tents, tastefully decorated in safari-style with high quality furniture. Bathrooms are en suite with flush toilets and solar water heated showers. Each guest tent has a private veranda and faces East to enable guests enjoy the spectacular sunrises from the comfort of their beds.
Delicious meals are prepared from fresh local produce, including from the Camp’s own Greenhouse and iKWETA farms. Other amenities include a large salt water pool, mains electricity, high-capacity backup generator, DSTV, and high-speed Internet through VSAT
