A perfect choice for a family or two couples traveling together. This two room suite with an adjoining shared bath comfortably accommodates up to 5 people. The main room contains one Queen and one Twin bed. The adjoining room has one Queen bed. Each room has its own flat screen TV.

As you enter through the arched doorway of this luxurious suite you are immediately taken back in time. Once the original living room of this converted mansion, it offers a beautiful tropical private garden, spacious seating area, two flat screen TVs and a king sized bed.

Our signature suite, reached by a private staircase, the Vista de Oro lives up to its name commanding a breathtaking view of the Central Valley skyline. The suite reflects the turn of the century style of the original home with handmade tiles, complemented by rich wood paneling. The suite is stylishly furnished with exquisite antiques and a luxurious king sized bed.

All standard rooms feature a tropical and rustic atmosphere, surrounded by the forest, the sounds of the river or the ocean, and the natural scenery. They feature ceiling fans (No a/c), outside porch with hammocks and rocking chairs, private bathroom and in-room safety deposit box.

Bedding offered includes rooms with King bed only, others with one queen and one single bed or rooms for families with two queen beds. No roll away beds available.

Superior rooms (king jaguars) offer tranquility, quietness and a more ample space to relax and stretch. A wonderful choice for couples, honeymooners, and special occasions.

Located at the back end of the property, superior rooms offer a nice, quiet location with ample accommodations. 04 of these rooms are independent "casitas" and the other 4 only have one room neighbor. Out of the 8 rooms, 6 have a king bed only and 2 feature besides the king bed, an individual one.

Our Peninsula Rooms are located on the first floor of the main building. Equipped with two queen size beds and a large terrace with outdoor seating, a hammock, and partial views of the Nicoya Peninsula and our vast gardens. Although the temperature in Monteverde is usually quite pleasant, all Peninsula Rooms also have a ceiling fan for added comfort.

Peninsula Superior Rooms are located on the top floor of the Main Building. These rooms are ideal for couples, with king size beds, private comfortable balconies with views of the Nicoya Peninsula and an open bathroom concept.

Our Forest Rooms are located in the adjacent Chalet building, steps away from the Hotel’s private nature trail. Equipped with a king size bed and a shower with forest views. Beautiful hard wood finishings, and a balcony overlooking the forest.
