Boteti River Camp is ideally located near the Makgadikgadi National Park. The camp is on the outskirts of Khumaga Village where guests can observe the local culture and discover the world's largest salt pan. Close by is the Nxai Pan National Park and Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The camp features five standard chalets and three family units, all en-suite and feature air-conditioning and mosquito nets. The camping ground includes eight campsites and three mini Meru tents, a shaded area, a water tap, an electricity socket, a fireplace, a bin, and shared ablutions. The lounge deck is ideal for viewing the surrounding landscape, spotting animals, and for relaxing. The swimming pool is the place to be on those hot sunny days. The dining area serves homely food and the bar offers refreshing drinks.

Tucked in the heart of the friendly rural village of Khwai, at the doorstep of the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Guest House opens the door to a true African experience, offering a pristine immersion into Botswana’s unique nature and culture.

Welcoming guests in 6 ensuite bungalows, and 2 family units (2 en-suite rooms with an inter-leading lounge area). Khwai Guest House offers a cosy nest from which to experience the traditional lifestyle of this small community set amongst one of the most spectacular wilderness locations of Botswana.

Guests will have the choice between being completely independent and exploring this stunning destination on their own, or joining some of the many activities we offer: game drives in Moremi Game Reserve or in the Khwai concession, traditional dugout canoe (Mokoro) excursions on a channel bordering the game reserve, night drives, cultural tour and encounter of the Khwai community.

Bush Ways Safaris operates three types of mobile safaris experience: Adventure Camping, Premium Camping and Accommodated (lodge to lodge).

On a Premium Camping Safari, guests stay in walk in mini-meru tents which all have a private en suite bush toilet and shower. Camp beds with all the bedding are provided. This safari does not require any participation from guests. A back-up team traveling in a separate vehicle with all the equipment will set up the camp before guests arrive and break camp once guests have left.

Guests travel in a Bush Ways custom-built safari vehicle, designed to offer optimum comfort and maximize game viewing and photographic opportunities for the guests.

Entirely removable side windows along with folding windscreen and canvas roofs enhance game viewing opportunities. 220V/2 pin (round) power points are available on the vehicle to recharge cameras along with a small fridge to ensure guests can enjoy cool drinks at all times. On rainy days or if the air is chilly, perspex windows can be slid on both sides of the vehicle, to simultaneously protect perfectly from the weather while allowing a completely unobstructed sight.

Description: camping safari where all camp chores are carried out by our teams. There is one guide with the guests at all times and a back up team (chef + camp assistants) in a backup vehicle setting up and breaking camps, cooking meals, etc.

Equipment: Very spacious tents with bedrolls and bedding included and ensuite private bush ablutions (shower, toilet, toiletry stand) with direct access from the tent. All drinks included (softs, local alcoholic drinks, drinking water).

Vehicle: 4x4 safari vehicles custom-built by Bush Ways - custom built trailers - one backup vehicle specifically dedicated to setting-up/packing the camp

# of guests: Maximum participants = 9 pax so that everyone gets a window seat. No minimum pax required, safari is guaranteed once Bush Ways has accepted and confirmed a departure.

Itineraries: 6-night safari: one Northbound programme running from Maun to Kasane and one Southbound programme running from Kasane to Maun. Ideal to combine with your own set of lodges!

The Chobe Elephant Camp is a  rustic camp located on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the spectacular Chobe River which is home to an abundance of elephant, crocodile and hippo. The entire camp can sleep 36 guests who will enjoy the sweeping views of the Chobe River from the comfort of their suites.

The lodge prides itself on being eco-friendly and is built from the same red Kalahari Sand that dominates the northern part of Botswana. This is an authentic safari lodge with a minimalist atmosphere to the camp. Fitted with a curio guests are also able to take with them souvenirs.

A large, open-plan lounge area opens out onto a wooden deck with a small splash pool. Guests will never be short of activities and can enjoy anything from boating on the Chobe River to game drives in open safari vehicles.

The heart of “Pioneers” Lodge is the centrally located main area. The layout and classic décor here is extremely welcoming with a serene and stylish lounge which is airy and comfortable, and the rich inside dining room is certainly nostalgic and inviting. The guests also have the option of relaxing and dining on the spacious and expansive terrace, overlooking lush gardens. There is a large saloon style bar area which serves a variety of cold and hot beverages, including local craft beer made from our very own Zambezi water. For the modern traveller, Wi-Fi is important and this is readily available throughout the lodge. Well placed in the lush gardens are two swimming pools for the guests to use at their leisure. In addition to these, a day spa, TV Room and a meetings room are also available on the property.
