Boteti River Camp is ideally located near the Makgadikgadi National Park. The camp is on the outskirts of Khumaga Village where guests can observe the local culture and discover the world's largest salt pan. Close by is the Nxai Pan National Park and Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The camp features five standard chalets and three family units, all en-suite and feature air-conditioning and mosquito nets. The camping ground includes eight campsites and three mini Meru tents, a shaded area, a water tap, an electricity socket, a fireplace, a bin, and shared ablutions. The lounge deck is ideal for viewing the surrounding landscape, spotting animals, and for relaxing. The swimming pool is the place to be on those hot sunny days. The dining area serves homely food and the bar offers refreshing drinks.

The Dune Camp is situated on a vegetated dune overlooking spectacular views of the Kalahari valleys. Camp is on the north-eastern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in one of the largest private game reserves in Botswana. Deception Valley Private Reserve spans more than 43 000Ha of pristine Kalahari wilderness. Designated waterholes, hidden viewing hides, vegetated dunes, natural pans and an amazing valley, offering incredible game viewing opportunities.
The camp also gives you an opportunity to embrace the San bushman culture as they share intricate knowledge about their way of life. This cultural exchange is a fundamental part of the Kalahari experience, adding value to your stay - a human experience.

The camp offers 8 en-suite chalets each with a private verandah with views of the Kalahari oasis, a main area with a bar, dining and a viewing lounge overlooking a valley as well as a swimming pool. The waterhole is a major attraction and hours can be spent sitting at the main area enjoying the view and activity as the wildlife comes for a drink.

Guests can take advantage of wildlife activities, which include: open vehicle game drives in the private reserve and a San trail and nature walk with local Naru tribe. Please note: All activities are subject to seasonal availability and weather conditions during the month of travel.

En-suite Tents

Description: camping safari where all camp chores are carried out by our teams. There is one guide with the guests at all times and a back up team (chef + camp assistants) in a backup vehicle setting up and breaking camps, cooking meals, etc.

Equipment: Very spacious tents with bedrolls and bedding included and ensuite private bush ablutions (shower, toilet, toiletry stand) with direct access from the tent. All drinks included (softs, local alcoholic drinks, drinking water).

Vehicle: 4x4 safari vehicles custom-built by Bush Ways - custom built trailers - one backup vehicle specifically dedicated to setting-up/packing the camp

# of guests: Maximum participants = 9 pax so that everyone gets a window seat. No minimum pax required, safari is guaranteed once Bush Ways has accepted and confirmed a departure.

Itineraries: 6-night safari: one Northbound programme running from Maun to Kasane and one Southbound programme running from Kasane to Maun. Ideal to combine with your own set of lodges!

The Chobe Elephant Camp is a  rustic camp located on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the spectacular Chobe River which is home to an abundance of elephant, crocodile and hippo. The entire camp can sleep 36 guests who will enjoy the sweeping views of the Chobe River from the comfort of their suites.

The lodge prides itself on being eco-friendly and is built from the same red Kalahari Sand that dominates the northern part of Botswana. This is an authentic safari lodge with a minimalist atmosphere to the camp. Fitted with a curio guests are also able to take with them souvenirs.

A large, open-plan lounge area opens out onto a wooden deck with a small splash pool. Guests will never be short of activities and can enjoy anything from boating on the Chobe River to game drives in open safari vehicles.

The heart of “Pioneers” Lodge is the centrally located main area. The layout and classic décor here is extremely welcoming with a serene and stylish lounge which is airy and comfortable, and the rich inside dining room is certainly nostalgic and inviting. The guests also have the option of relaxing and dining on the spacious and expansive terrace, overlooking lush gardens. There is a large saloon style bar area which serves a variety of cold and hot beverages, including local craft beer made from our very own Zambezi water. For the modern traveller, Wi-Fi is important and this is readily available throughout the lodge. Well placed in the lush gardens are two swimming pools for the guests to use at their leisure.
