On the banks of Lake Victoria lies our beautiful, picture perfect golf resort with a 18-hole golf course, designed by Golf Plan with a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels. The views of the lake and its surroundings are soft on the eye with ample bird life, while each hole has a different and relaxed feel to it. Its unique features include a finishing hole with an island green that is not seen in many courses. Additional amenities and services include a driving range, caddies, equipment rentals and golf professionals to provide instruction for juniors and adults.

Take a trip to Paradise Island, an unspoiled paradise covered by dense tropical forest that is inhabited by monkeys as well as birds. Later, treat yourself to a tour around the fishing villages and meet Ugandans to learn their culture and ways.

Located 23 km offshore from Entebbe, this 100-acre forested island is a safe haven for juvenile/ orphaned chimpanzees who are free to enjoy the natural habitat on this wonderful island.

Enjoy fishing from the waters of the largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria, at Paradise Island right off Entebbe.

The resort’s boating marina on Lake Victoria is located on a man-made bay featuring a channel and yacht basin with moorings for yachts and motorboats. Take a trip to the channel to Lutembe beach and view the exotic birdlife or cruise to Ngamba Island, a chimpanzee preserve where guests can participate in feeding the animals. Additionally, we offer dawn lunch and sundowner cruises for small groups.

Mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However viewing success rates are over 90%. Once sighted, visitors are allowed an hour with the gorillas. Overnighting in Bwindi is required the night before tracking due to your early morning start. As tracking can sometimes take a full day, a second nights accommodation is also highly recommended. Ideally 2 to 3 nights are suggested to enjoy this region.

Gorilla tracking timings and conditions vary tremendously as the gorillas move continuously through the rain forest. It is good to be prepared and remember the weather can change with very little warning. The terrain is often steep and through areas where there are no marked paths. It can be VERY strenuous – it may be just a couple of hours but it can also be for a full day of up to 8 hours or more of hiking in hot, high altitude conditions – please be prepared for this by being as fit as possible!

This walk provides guests with an opportunity to support the local community whilst enjoying visiting various interesting places as you follow a walking trail through the village. Highlights include the traditional healer, banana brewery and Mukono Primary school where you may interact with the children.

This can be undertaken with a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide to allow you to hike along the trails and enjoy the forest flora and fauna. A popular choice is the 3-4 hour hike to the waterfall. Get lost in the ancient forests of Bwindi with an experienced guide on hand. These forests also provide great bird watching opportunities.
