With the majestic “Namibian Matterhorn” as a backdrop, the welcoming Spitzkoppe Mountain Tented Camp is strategically located just one kilometre from the Spitzkoppe Mountain Reserve. It serves as the ideal base from which to explore the areas famed over-sized boulders, secret caves, and archaeological sites. The campsite is home to comfortable safari tents that are already set upon arrival. Each tent can accommodate two guests and features a private bathroom, with hot water.

Palmwag Lodge & Campsite is situated in the Palmwag Concession next to one of the tributaries’ of the ephemeral Uniab River in north western Damaraland / Kunene region. The newly renovated lodge and campsite is nestled between huge Makalani palms and Mopane trees. Palmwag Lodge is situated 500 meters north of the veterinary control gate on the C 43 to Sesfontein. From Kamanjab you can reach Palmwag Lodge on the C 40, 120 kilometers away, and from Khorixas you can reach Palmwag Lodge on the C 39, 160 kilometers away. Palmwag Lodge is an ideal stop over on the way to the Kaokoland, Etosha and the coast. Palmwag Lodge manages and operates the 582,000 hectare large concession area. Located in the south of Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo Rest Camp was formerly a military outpost founded in 1901. The property features a nearby waterhole, which is a hub of animal activity starting in the early hours of the morning. After sunset floodlights illuminate the waterhole, which is the best time and place to see the endangered black rhino.

Okaukuejo Rest Camp offers a wide range of accommodation, as well as some necessities, such as a petrol station and a shop. The restaurant and bar offer refreshments and delicious meals, while the swimming pool offers relief on hot days.

The lodge centres on an old German Fort overlooking the King Nehale waterhole; an elevated decked walkway provides excellent opportunities for enjoying the surrounding scenery, wildlife and the spectacular sunsets. The Fort has been developed into a hub of activity, offering two restaurants, a relaxation lounge, a bar, crafts boutique, curio shop, jewellers and bookstore. Accommodation is provided in comfortable double rooms or bush chalets. Camping is also available.
