Mayfair Hotel | Adelaide

The Mayfair Hotel is a five-star luxury hotel situated on the corner of King William and Hindley Streets in the heritage-listed Colonial Mutual Life building in Adelaide.

The 170 rooms and suites are filled with southern Australian touches from the opulent Mayfair beds to handcrafted wardrobes, marble top desks, and side tables. The attention to small details like L’Occitane skincare, bathrobe and slippers, and a gourmet minibar ensure a restful stay.

On the property, guests will also find airy meeting and function rooms, a business centre, and gym. While the rooms and suites exude easy elegance, the true stars of the hotel are the onsite restaurants. The signature restaurant, the Mayflower Restaurant & Bar, offers a buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner. The dessert trolley display is mouth-wateringly tempting, but the warm, attentive service is what makes dining here such a delight. The new rooftop bar, HENNESSY, is where guests can enjoy chic cocktails under a glass-topped alfresco terrace.

This hotel is our top choice for accommodation in Adelaide. Guests should note that the hotel makes its own honey and it is worth picking up a bottle.
