Hotel des Arts Saigon MGallery is a modern boutique-style hotel, located on the edge Saigon's central Disctrict One, the Hotel Des Arts is close enough to walk to many of Saigon's central attractions.
The hotel is part of the luxurious Sofitel MGallery Collection and offers a distinctive, sensuous hotel experience with authentic 1930's art and decor, scented hallways and fine dining.
It's an area that has a bygone feel about it in a city that has undergone so much change over the last few years.
This theme is continued in the hotel itself where the modern chic style is complemented nicely by touches of old Indochina.
With 168 rooms it's a superb boutique hotel and its facilities, including two restaurants, a fitness centre, as well as the city's highest rooftop pool, all add up to provide a comfortable stay.
Rooms are a very spacious mix of contemporary and period design and feature very large picture windows which mean great views over the city, especially from the higher floors.
The rooftop bar and swimming pool are bonuses for day time cooling and night time viewing and the hotel has a great range of luxury dining options.
Hotel Des Arts is one of our favourite luxury boutique hotels in Vietnam. Entering the lobby feels like being welcomed into the home of a rich and tasteful relative.
The style is romantic 1930's Indochine but is complimented superbly by modern features. The hotel feels akin to an art museum and indeed the lobby lounge often doubles as a local gallery.
We love the scent used throughout the hotel and the feminine quality to the design which is quite deliberate and gives the hotel a softness to the colonial era styling.
The hotel is rather inconspicuous, set in a high rise building which could easily be misconstrued for another office building but once through the door, all misconceptions are dispelled.

About Zannier Bai San Ho
Zannier Bai San ho is a luxury boutique resort located on a secluded peninsula in Phu Yen Province, a few km south of Quy Nonh in south central Vietnam, an area of traditional fishing villages, white sandy beaches and gently sloping mountains.
The resort consists of one- to four-bedroom villas, each styled to embody the essence of Vietnamese heritage.
Paddy Field Villas (49 sq. m.) are wooden villas built on stilts, in the traditional Vietnamese manner. They overlook the resorts' own rice paddy, the floating garden and the lotus pond.
One- and Two-Bedroom Hill Pool Villas are perched on top of the green hills surrounding the private bay of Bãi San Hô and boast stunning sea views. They have a private plunge pool, a pool deck and private terrace.
One- and Two-Bedroom Beach Pool Villas (59 sq. m.) are only steps away from the beach, and feature private plunge pools, pool decks and private terraces.
The resort showcases a variety of cuisine across its three restaurants and bars.
Bà Hai is Zannier’s traditional restaurant, offering a culinary journey and an immersion into Vietnamese culture; an invitation to dive into the authentic, minimalist and sophisticated cuisine of Vietnam.
At the resort’s nerve centre, Nhà ở, guests can enjoy all-day dining with panoramic views, a covered terrace and an outdoor bar beside the main pool. Hầm Bar is a beautiful cocktail bar located in the main building.
What’s so Special?
Wellbeing is at the heart of Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô. The magnificent 372 sqm Hoa Sen spa (literally meaning “Lotus Flower”) features seven treatment rooms (including 3 doubles), hammams, saunas, a tearoom and large relaxation areas, ideal to unwind.
The essence and philosophy of Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô is a desire to share Vietnam’s rich culture and history through a journey of the senses.
Each architectural feature has been infused with vernacular tradition. Interiors are dotted with Vietnamese artefacts, paintings and local silk prints.
Villas embody the pristine simplicity of their natural surroundings. Every private pool and terrace are as regenerative as their own private setting – from traditional rice paddy fields, dramatic hilltops or perched at the edge of the resort’s powder white beach.
Three dining experiences reveal the essence of Vietnamese cuisine: Bà Hai offers authentic immersion into Grandma Hai-style regional cooking, Làng Chài’s thatched huts on the beach host a lively grill restaurant served daily by the local fisherman, while Nhà Ở is the heartbeat to the resort with panoramic hilltop views and all-day Southeast Asian and international menus.
