Kanana | Okavango Delta

Kanana Camp is located in the remote inner part of the Okavango Delta, a place of peace and security. Eight luxury tents offer exclusive accommodation for up to 16 guests. The tents are built on stilts and therefore offer the best possible views of the surroundings. This also applies to the restaurant, which is set on a viewing platform around an old, massive fig tree. The staff is highly trained, friendly, and accommodating. You will feel at home. Look forward to the excellent cuisine, which will never cease to delight you, from the freshly baked bread to the evening feast. The area is ideal for walking and mokoro safaris, but game drives in open 4x4 vehicles are also possible and very popular. In addition to elephants, many other wildlife species can frequently be seen here, such as impala, lechwe antelope, hippos, crocodiles, and lions. The rare Pel's fish owl and hyenas are regularly spotted in Kanana. Even rarer are the Situanga antelopes, which live in the swamps and are excellent swimmers.

Shinde | Okavango Delta

Shinde is located within the wildlife-approved private Shinde Concession. Nestled in the shade of ancient jackalberry, fig, and crocodile trees on the edge of the Okavango Delta's permanent floodplains and surrounding waterways, which are home to numerous birds and wildlife, the camp offers a wide range of activities all year round. The camp consists of eight large safari tents on individual platforms. The tents are decorated in elegant African style and feature mesh windows and en-suite bathrooms with a separate toilet. The main building, also known as the "tree house," is spread over several levels, connecting the dining room via stairs and ramps (for wheelchair access) with various lounges. The boma at the base of the lodge is a popular meeting place for afternoon tea or for drinks around the campfire followed by stargazing after dark. Shinde has a small gift shop and a pool. Part of the camp is the so-called "Enclave," the perfect choice for families or small groups. The Enclave is a small camp within the camp that offers its guests their own private deck, dining room, and private host/guide.
