It was our dream to create a boutique offering in Windhoek which would be the benchmark for comfort and style.

The chic, boutique guesthouse is totally different in look and feel to its contemporaries in Namibia. We have aimed to combine what is popular and sleek with what is authentic in Namibia. Outapi Town hotel located in northern Namibia in Outapi, in the Omusati region offers convenient accommodation to travelers. Oshigambo river – the tour is concluded with a visit to Oshigambo river as you learn the fauna and the amazing flora and the historical activity that took place in the 1800’s and 1900’s.

Get an experience of one of the important parts of the Owambo culture “Dancing”, you get to participate in music lessons, learn some dance moves, how to drum, and the meaning of different traditional songs. Or just sit back relax and enjoy the show as the Ongula Village Lodge kids traditional dance group show you how it is done.

Owela game was traditionally played by elders, Currently the game is played by both the young and old as a recreational activity, the game is played by oshiwambo-speaking population of Namibia and Angola. Another name of the Owela game played by other tribes is called “Hus”.

Traditionally Owela is played on a four- row trough (Modern on a board) of at least eight holes per row, but no more than 32 and always on an even number.

Owela has been Redesigned/Modernized by a graduate from a local university and is now a product like any other board games. This innovation will ensure that the game will remain alive and future generations will continue to learn/play it and preserve this cultural heritage. Owela is not a game of luck, If the game can be promoted even in school, it can enhance students mathematical and strategical skills.

Onkoshi Camp, Etosha National Park, is the latest addition to Namibia Wildlife Resorts portfolio. Nestled on the rim of the pan on a secluded peninsula, Onkoshi Camp is a low impact, environmentally friendly establishment with only 15 units (30 beds), which guarantees a truly personal and exclusive experience. The luxurious character of the lodge is complemented by the interior decoration and colour scheme of the 8 generously proportioned chalets. All the rooms have their own bathroom, air-conditioner, fridge, hairdryer, telephone, and an electric kettle for tea and coffee.

All of the accommodations at Frans Indongo Lodge have been built using natural materials, including stone, thatch and wooden beams, embracing the inspiration taken from the vibrant Ovambo culture of northern Namibia.

Our family unit consist of two separated rooms, one sharing bathroom and an inter leading door.

The children’s room is equipped with a queen size sofa bed (size 153 x 190 cm). The master bedroom is equipped with two ¾ size beds standing next to each other (size for one bed is 107 x 190 cm).

Both rooms sharing the bathroom with a bath tub, shower , toilet, 2 wash basins.

Two sliding doors are giving way to a small terrace and the garden.

Frans Indongo Bush Camping is situated 46 km from Otjiwarongo on the D2433. Therefore it is not only the ideal stopover for the traveler enroute from Windhoek to the Etosha National Park, the Caprivi or to Botswana, but it also offers various remarkable day trips to nearby surroundings.

The BUSH CAMPING is approximately 5 km away from the lodge. The campsite left very naturally under big trees, is located on the slopes of the mountain with a spectacular view into the savanna. No fences, just endless nature will be lying in front of you.

Frans Indongo Lodge exudes the sense for life of northern Namibia’s people in a most charming way. The complex is modelled on traditional Ovambo homesteads: palisades of tall pointed stakes embrace the lodge and convey a feeling of the warmth and security of home right in the middle of the African bush. Inside the complex a palisade separates the restaurant and swimming pool area from the guest chalets and thereby provides more privacy. A variety of beautiful building materials like natural stone, wood and reed were used for the houses. Items of daily use in Ovambo – earthen pots, voluminous storage baskets or original wooden figures – serve as decoration to emphasise the African theme, and lend a very special charm to the lodge.
