Having lived and worked in the tourism sector in West & East Africa for a number of years they have always been passionate about creating a 'soft landing' for people to explore this beautiful continent and to offer something that provides 'an African home away from home'. Fort Murchison is set on the eastern banks of the Albert Nile in the former Aswa Lolim Game Reserve in Uganda. Accommodation options consist of 12 spacious en-suite rooms with desks, private balconies, and sofas. Additional accommodation includes comfortably furnished non-self-contained tents with mosquito nets and private terraces. Facilities and services include a restaurant, a bar, and a swimming pool. Kotido is a small town and district in Northern Karamoja. The main group of people who live here are the Jie, a Karimojong sub-group. Since disarmament (2008 and before) the security is good in this region. Ronald en Anke Simiyu started living in Kotido in 2010.

Kara-Tunga Safari Camp is located in Moroto, at the heart of Uganda’s Karamoja region, nestled on the slopes of Mount Moroto. The campground offers various accommodation options such as 10 furnished safari tents with comfortable beds and eight six-bed dormitories including bedding.
