The Elephant Lake Hotel is located on the shores of the St Lucia Estuary in the town of St Lucia, Kwa Zulu Natal, within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, South Africa’s first World Heritage Site. St Lucia is 25km from the main N2 route between Durban and Swaziland, 75 km South from Hluhluwe town and 80 km North of Richards Bay.

The Hotel has a three star grading and boast with 56 upmarket, en-suite, air-conditioned rooms, all sharing a westerly view across the St Lucia Estuary. All rooms are equipped with DSTV, tea/coffee making facilities, wall safes; hair dryer and full range of bathroom amenities. The Hotel has two levels. The ground level has 25 rooms, all with a private patio leading out to a sparkling pool, an upmarket restaurant, leading out to the pool patio, the Hotel lounge and Reception area. The eight standard chalets are built on stilts with thatch roofs and wooden decks. Each chalet is accessed via a wooden ramp leading onto a covered wooden deck appointed with comfortable chairs and a coffee table. Double glass doors and a glass-front

There are two family chalets specially designed for a young family with two small children. These open plan thatched chalets have a double bed arrangement for parents and a dormer set off to one side with two single children's beds.

There are two luxuriously appointed honeymoon chalets tucked away in a forested ravine just a short walk from the main lodge.

Mkhulu's House has 2 en-suite bedrooms (main room includes a set of bunk beds for two small children), kitchen, dining room, lounge and outdoor entertainment area with a spectacular view. It also has it's own private swimming pool.

Mkhulu's house is ideal for a family of four or two adult couples. The house consist off 2 en-suite bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, dining room, lounge and an outdoor entertainment area with a spectacular view. It also has it's own private swimming pool. The house is equipped for a self
catering holiday however meals may be booked at the lodge restaurant provided the lodge is
occupied by guests.

Mkhulu’s House is a 5 minute walk from the main lodge and we recommend
that you bring a torch if you intend booking meals as the path and road has no lighting.

The lodge terrace has a fire pit which is lit every night and dinner is served most often on the
outside deck or in the dining room depending on weather.

Dinner is served from 7.00 pm and breakfast from 7.00 am till 10.00 am.

Important: If guests intend eating at the lodge rather than self catering they must book a day in
advance or when making their reservation so that the lodge restaurant can cater for you.

Planters Bush Camp is made up of 3 separate en suite air-conditioned rooms accommodating 6

adults/children.

The main bedroom can accommodate 2 children on stretchers with a surcharge of @ R100.00

per child.

The remaining 2 bedrooms can be interleading or separate.

The camp has a central kitchen/ dining area, boma braai area with weber and swimming pool.

Perched on the bank of a waterhole in the magnificent Sabi Sand Game Reserve, is the luxurious Arathusa Safari Lodge. Dotted amongst the pristine wilderness of the reserve, beautifully-decorated luxury rooms include lovely en-suite bathrooms (with baths, indoor and alfresco showers), air-conditioning, private verandas and sweeping views of the glassy waterhole. Only eight water-facing suites have a view of the waterhole. The four bush-facing suites are remote and have their own pools, but no views.
