Villa Monte Bello Guesthouse is located in the Eros suburb of Windhoek, in Namibia. Facilities include a swimming pool, a garden and free WI-FI internet access. The guest rooms are decorated in a modern style, and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and mini bars. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet in the restaurant or outside at the pool.

The 12 rooms are styled the with crisp white linen on comfortable beds. The San-inspired décor compliments this stylish yet rustic style. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a large shower, air conditioning and a tea and coffee station. This lodge is designed to cater for the more young at heart and the rooms are therefore at an adequate distance from one another. Each rondavel has a small stone patio from which the captivating scenes of the Kalahari Desert can be taken in. An inviting, sparkling blue pool which attracts the odd Oryx despite there being a waterhole in close proximity is the first sight to catch your eye as you enter the main area of the lodge. The lounge has comfortable leather seating and is next to the bar that leads to a boma area where large fires are lit and barbecues can be enjoyed at night. An upstairs restaurant overlooking the majestic sights serves an alternative area where sumptuous meals are served. The kitchen is also replenished with organically grown vegetables from the neighbouring farm, Twilight and guests truly enjoy the finest and freshest culinary delights that the Kalahari has to offer.

Due to its elaborate décor Canyon Roadhouse has acquired a sort of cult status in Namibia: the good old days of the automobile are celebrated in the theme restaurant and bar. Experience the wild expanse of the Gondwana Canyon Park where the fences of ten farms were dismantled to recreate a Namibian Eden. Take a guided drive to the Fish River Canyon to be inspired by new perspectives. Celebrate sunrise amidst the quiver trees and sunset from a hillock, overlooking spectacular scenery. The Canyon lodges are comfortable havens to take a break from the road. Explore and discover the ancient wonderland, or simply luxuriate in the peace, lounging at the poolside, snoozing in the coolness of your chalet or sitting on the terrace dipping into a book.

This hike (about 6 km) takes you right into Gondwana Canyon Park. You are accompanied by a guide who will gladly share his knowledge about the fascinating desert landscape around the canyon. This tour does not include the Fish River Canyon. (Approx. 3 hours)

We drive you to a spot with a grand view. Watch the sunrise while enjoying coffee and tea. Then we walk back the short distance to the lodge. This tour does not include the Fish River Canyon. (Approx. 1 hour)

Especially for guests who want a break from the wheel or those on a fly-in safari. You are taken to the two major lookout points along the Fish River Canyon. Our guide will tell you all about the canyon's fascinating geology. (Approx. 3 hours)

The 3 hour drive is the perfect opportunity for you to acquaint yourself with the geology, flora and fauna of the Gondwana Canyon Park. This tour does not include the Fish River Canyon. It starts at Canyon Lodge or Canyon Village. Approx. 3 hours

All guests are invited to wrap up the day with a short excursion to our very own ‘local’ mountain. Have a drink and watch the sun go down.

The 28 individual self-catering accommodation units at Desert Camp are uniquely designed to blend in perfectly with the natural surrounding environment.

Each spacious air-conditioned bedroom feature twin beds, space for suitcases and a fold-out sleeper couch where two small children under the age of 12 years can be accommodated free of charge when sharing the room with two full paying adults. Please enquire with your booking to ensure preparations are made as required.

The en-suite bathroom comprises of wash basin with large mirror and vanity space, shelves and hanging space, an electronic safe as well as a separate toilet and spacious walk in shower.

On the outside the patio features a fitted kitchenette with wash up area, under counter fridge and 2-plate hob that is enclosed with a zip-up canvas cover. The barbeque facility and wooden bench for seating is ideally situated to enjoy the incredible views over the Desert landscapes and surrounding Naukluft mountains. Utility boxes with most utensils needed for self-catering are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily.

Guests at Desert Camp who wish to not cook for themselves, can make use of our nearby Sossusvlei Lodge Restaurant which is about 5 minutes travel down the road towards the Namib Naukluft Park's entrance.

Sossusvlei Lodge is well known for sensational cuisine and many guests have praised especially the delectable buffet dinner experience.

The al fresco terrace offers magnificent views over Elim Dune and of the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and hyena, whilst enjoying exquisite food and wine.

Start your day with a scrumptious buffet breakfast with an extensive selection of all the favourite delectable breakfast foods and treats. For lunch the chef will spoil you with the mouth-watering meal of the day accompanied by a variety of salads and side dishes. An a 'la carte menu is available at the Sossusvlei Lodge Bar from 14h30 to 16h00. The popular buffet dinner will leave you spoiled for choice between the salads, side dishes, grilled meats and stir-fries - all prepared fresh and in front of every guest! For the perfect ending there is a range of decadent dessert sensations as well as a variety of cheeses and biscuits.

Established in 1968 by the Rapmund Family the Hotel Pension Rapmund continues to be a family run hotel. As from 2008 the new owners Sonja and Enjo Mueller have been operating on a family oriented basis. Enjoy hearty "German" breakfast in a friendly and personalized atmosphere, with a view of the ocean. The Hotel’s central location provides great access to the heart of town and the beach.
