The Stellenbosch Hotel is a 43 room boutique style hotel that also offers 6 self-catering studio and two-bedroom apartments. The hotel was built on land granted by Gov. Simon van der Stel between 1692 and 1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a national monument.
The TGCSA 3 star hotel is strategically located in the heart of the beautiful and historical town of Stellenbosch. Museums, art galleries and curio shops are all within safe walking distance. It is the ideal destination from which our guests could explore the heart of South Africa's Wine Country, Franschhoek, Paarl, Cape Town with Table Mountain, Cape Point, the Waterfront, the Peninsula and the many other attractions offered by the Western Cape.
Breakfast in the morning is served in the new Stellenbosch Kitchen where lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed from the a la Carte menu. Stellenbosch Kitchen dishes are adapted from classics found around the world.

Two of the rooms are on the first floor and come complete with small balconies with seating. The other two rooms are on the ground floor and are slightly larger, and have an intimate garden area. Furnished in typical French country cottage pieces with crisp white linen adorning the beds, and ornate designs carved into wood provides a simple and classic atmosphere. Crushed velvet scatters and matching lampshades bring through a sense of playfulness to the luxury rooms.
The expansive penthouse suite is located on the top floor of Hermanus Boutique Guest House and offers a bird’s-eye view of the Walker Bay coastline. The suite epitomises stylish loft style living and is ideal for honeymooners and guests wanting to stay a little longer. An indulgent king size bed flows out towards the wrap-around balcony, giving rise to unparalleled ocean views. Honeymooners can watch whales breaching in the bay from the comfort of their bed! One of the honeymoon suites is located on the upper level, while the other is slightly more spacious. From opulent spa baths to open plan bathrooms and glass showers with a view, the honeymoon suite certainly focuses on taking advantage of the seascapes from all angles of the room. Even the decor is a reflection of the tranquil colours of the natural environment. If the brazen colours from the sunset aren’t romantic enough, the team at the guest house pull out all the stops for your honeymoon. Expect plenty of extra welcoming touches!

There are seven open-plan pool rooms in total, each decorated in a similar style. The rooms offer a surprising sense of playfulness with their outdoor rain showers and jetted spa baths. Inside each room, you will find a free-flowing layout. An open-plan bathroom seamlessly integrates with a bedroom clad in classic French-country decor and fitted with a generous twin convertible king-size bed. The pool rooms are all separate from the guest house in a block overlooking the pool, offering a sense of seclusion from the main guest house. Adjoining the rooms is a breakaway lounge area frequently used for meetings, small conferences or celebratory events. Most people book out the pool rooms for events or company sessions and use the room for meetings.

The standard deluxe rooms sit comfortably in the central area of the guest house, and offer an elegant space for both couples and families. Mirroring the luxurious and plush designs of the other rooms and suites, the standard deluxe rooms offer similar amenities but don’t have a sea view. Two of the rooms have a sofa bed in the lounge area which can sleep child over the age of eight.
Tucked away in the corner of the Hermanus Guest House, on the second level, is the sizeable family suite. Comprising two separate bedrooms sharing an en suite bathroom, the family suite is ideal for families with older children or teenagers. The individual rooms are tastefully decorated ensuring finishes and furnishings reflect the understated luxury evident throughout all areas of Hermanus Guest House. Large yellow scatters dotted with hedgehogs provide a sense of frivolity to one of the rooms, making it cosy and inviting for families. This magical country hotel situated in the village of Storms River has been hosting travellers since 1841. The privately owned and managed country hotel consists of 49 village-style rooms, where each cottage is individually decorated to match its specific colonial building style.
The main building, which traces its roots back to 1845, has a spacious dining room, incorporating the De Oude Martha Restaurant, the Hunters Pub, Cafe Bacchus and Guest Lounge.
