The 10 chalets at Apoka are all of the same standard. There are 4 twins (2 x Queen beds) and 6 doubles (1 x King bed).

Everything is handmade by local craftsmen, everything is large and capacious and super comfy. The expansive chalets with natural canvas walls surround a rocky kopje with endless views across the savannah. With inside sitting rooms and private verandas there are plenty of places to relax, read and sprawl. Big hand-hewn beds with soft duvets are draped with mosquito nets, hand-woven woolen carpets, oversized dressing gowns…you may be as far away from the city as you’ll ever be, but you won’t miss a thing. Step outside to a sheltered terrace and slip into your own outdoor rocktub, big enough to fit the whole family.

Our six bandas provide a high level of luxury and service inclusive of a traditional freestanding bathtub; perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening views. A monsoon high-pressure indoor shower, vital for the early morning safari game drives and an outdoor shower designed to embrace the beauty of the nature surrounding your banda.

The perfect room to spend a romantic getaway, with its breathtaking views. It's the ideal place to relax with a drink or a book. Its uniqueness is in its private plunge pool and daybed overlooking the River Nile. A special offer to couples who want to enjoy some private time together.

The family Villa is the ideal option for larger groups. It accommodates four adults and four children. It has two master bedrooms with four single beds and two king-size beds, a spacious living room and a private terrace with optional lunch service.

It has a private swimming pool with a stunning view of the shoebill peninsula.

Guests stay in private stone cottages, all of similar fine standard.

Two of the cottages are 'Family Room' style: two ensuite bedrooms and a lovely shared sitting room.

All cottages have their own private sitting room with a fireplace and deep comfy armchairs and sofa.

Each cottage features the original commissioned artwork of an individual Ugandan artist and has breath-taking views through big picture windows looking out to the virunga volcano range.

Guests can opt for King size bed or two twins.

These cottages have outdoor verandas with sitting area. Family Rooms have a grassed area outside where guests can sit and drink in the view.
