A fun family activity in the garden, Movie Night brings children and adults together under the stars, snacking on delicious popcorn and sipping muña tea beside the Urubamba River. A selection of light bites, desserts and drinks is also available from our chef’s special menu.

Embark on a scenic horseback ride through native forests, pastures and streams, visiting local communities along the way and, at journey’s end, a magnificent waterfall.

Thrill to the excitement of ziplining, a totally safe and exhilarating way to soar over the magnificent Sacred Valley. The zipline is reached by a rugged 35-minute hike, with some parts of the route roped for safety.

Led by a shaman, this ancient Andean ritual enables you to give thanks to Mother Earth, or Pachamama, for the life that she gives us, and to make special personal requests.

Children may feed and pet our baby alpacas.

Youngsters needn’t miss a minute of fun: try table football and sapo (a Peruvian coin-tossing game).

Arty youngsters can express their creativity while discovering a new alfresco activity in one of Peru’s most enchanting landscapes.

A variety of excursions are available within the five hectares (12.3 acres) of pristine cloud forest surrounding Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, a quiet retreat for the mind and body, as well as a base for numerous adventures and explorations. Home to an incredible diversity of fauna and flora, the hotel’s trails lead to cascading streams and historically sacred sites. During their stay, travelers may choose to explore a particular subject, become involved in one of our projects or simply immerse themselves in the spiritual wonder of the area.

The hotel offers varied excursions covering a range of three difficulty levels: Easy (I), Moderate (II) or Difficult (III). Each activity can be substituted by various others of the same duration. Some excursions require pre-booking and additional payments.

Back at the hotel, enjoy a cooking class and later indulge in a sublime three-course dinner. Our barman will also prepare an exquisite cocktail using your chosen fruit.
