The Savanna Suite is an opulent home away from home under thatch.Two large, beautifully furnished bedrooms lie on either side of an inter-connecting lounge. Each has a spacious bathroom with free-standing bath, double vanities, double shower and toilet. The bathrooms open onto paved outdoor showers. The bedrooms have glass doors with screens leading out onto covered patios, heated plunge pool and wooden viewing deck. From here guests enjoy views of a private waterhole and the beauty of the African bush.
The lounge is a harmonious meld of elegance and comfort with sofas grouped around a television and DVD centre, and a cosy reading nook in front of the fireplace. Step through sliding glass doors onto a large covered patio where candle-lit dinners or private pre-dinner cocktails may be enjoyed. The Savanna Suite's unique facilities are much in demand by families who would like to have their children under the same roof but not in the same bedroom, or groups of friends wishing to spend quality time together. Camp Xakanaxa | Moremi Game Reserve
Camp Xakanaxa is located on the banks of the Khwai River on the Xakanaxa Lagoon, in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. It offers guests an authentic, year round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience. The camp accommodates twenty four guests in twelve spacious all canvas, classic Meru style luxury safari tents, with en suite showers and hand basins. Situated around the fringe of the lagoon, every tent has a private viewing deck with comfortable loungers. The stylish main buildings extend over the Khwai River and are set on raised platforms to maximize the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands. Drives take place just after dawn and at sunset. Open Land Rovers with a seating capacity for 10 passengers are used for the drives. Only 6 to 8 guests are accommodated in each vehicle at any time, allowing plenty of space and excellent viewing.
Additional boating safaris across the Xakanaxa Lagoon and into the Okavango Delta are also offered from Camp Xakanaxa in search of the Okavango Delta's diverse wildlife and abundant birdlife.
