Join a 2-hour morning drive with a dedicated tour guide. After a leisurely drive guests will arrive at one of the red dunes. The red sand of the dunes invites all children to play. Klein-Aus Vista Desert Horse Campsite Gondwana Collection Namibia | Aus
Large old camel thorn trees greet camping guests at the Desert Horse Campsite in a small valley of the Aus Mountains. Each of the ten sites is equipped with a tap, table, grill and windbreak. Neat shower and toilet facilities are within easy reach of each site. Barbecue packs are available at the reception of Desert Horse Inn (1.5 km); those who like to skip cooking for a change are more than welcome at the Inn's restaurant (subject to space available, please enquire upon arrival). Note there are no power point outlets at the Desert Horse camp. If you have equipment that need to be charged it can be done at reception of Desert Horse Inn.

Namibrand Family Hideout | NamibRand Nature Reserve
In 1999, Andreas and Mandy Brückner got the go-ahead to convert the deserted home of Karakul sheep farmers on the farm Stellarine into what is known as the NamibRand Family Hideout today. It is remotely situated in south-western Namibia , on the NamibRand Nature Reserve, one of Southern Africa ’s largest private nature reserves.
Three private and secluded campsites Orion, Venus and Jupiter (opening March 2019).
Pre-booking is essential. In addition to our daily rates, a daily per person Park Fee is compulsory for contribution to the conservation function of the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
You are advised to book at least 2 nights as our facilities are over 16 kilometres off the main road C27.
