House In The Wild | Masai Mara

5 Jun 2019 - 9 Jun 2019

House in the Wild is a private home tucked away on a farm on the edge of the Masai Mara. It sits on the banks of the Mara River and is surrounded by game within the Enonkishu Conservancy. It has a casual and laid back atmosphere where guests can get away from the beaten track and plan their own itinerary as they like. The house sleeps eight people comfortably, with two double en-suite rooms on the river, and a family cottage which has a double and twin room sharing a bathroom. The house comes fully staffed and has an excellent chef and safari guide who can help guests to plan their activities over their stay.

The house is casual with simple interiors and a rustic charm. There is a dining and sitting area with a cosy fireplace and a large lawn that stretches out to the banks of the Mara river. Evening dining can be in the house or out by the campfire, under the stars.

One of the unique features of House in the Wild is how private it is. As it is tucked away in the bush on the corner of the farm with views that stretch over the river and across the plains, you feel as if the Mara is your own back garden. There are no other tourists and it is off the beaten track. House in the Wild gives you a taste of life on a farm with the Big Five on the doorstep, all to yourselves.
