Our Classic triple rooms are designed to provide a large and comfortable space for up to three people. Guests have the choice of three single beds or a combination of one king-sized bed and one single bed. Each room includes an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as amenities like air conditioning and mosquito nets. These rooms are an excellent choice for families of three or friends traveling together.

Our executive twin/double rooms offer a spacious and luxurious experience. Each room is equipped with a generously appointed bathroom featuring a Victorian bath, shower, basin, and toilet. For added convenience, two of these rooms have inter-leading doors, allowing them to be converted into suites for those traveling with family or friends.

The Triple Executive room offers ample space for 3 guests and features a generously-sized en suite bathroom complete with a shower, ball and claw bathtub, and toilet. Additionally, each room is equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, and a tea and coffee station. For parents traveling with kids, one of our triple executive rooms conveniently connects to a twin/double executive room, providing the ideal accommodation choice.

The rooms may all be configured as twin or king units. Rooms are tastefully decorated by our local designer using recycled and local items and fabrics. Eight of the Acacia rooms form a laager around a central lapa area that is a wonderful spot to relax and chat with friends. The Acacia section is well suited to private groups.

Each unit at Mopane section has a covered veranda where you may sit and enjoy watching the birds, squirrels and mongooses

An amazing destination for the weary traveller with brand new ablution facilities with hot and cold water and high pressure showers. The campsite boundaries are secured by electric fencing. Campers also enjoy full access to all the facilities that Robins camp has to offer. Inclusive of a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and a scenic viewing point to relax and take in the flora and fauna. Most campsites have their own dedicated 220v power supply. Please also note that fire wood is available for purchase from the National Parks Office at Robins Camp. Robins Camp does not have a convenience store.

Honeymoon suites:
'Kozi' and 'Ntwane', with King size bed, boast voluminous space that includes a lounge area. Both Honeymoon suites are 'A' framed granite under-thatch room that is nestled within the granite rocks on top of a Kopje (Hill) overlooking the Big Cave Camp Valley and the majestic Matopos National Park. 100% Egyptian cotton linen and pillow cases to add to your comfort. Each Lodge has its own private balcony offering spectacular sunrises or sunsets and the opportunity for you to relax watching our resident elephants, crocodiles and hippos in the Save river that flows all year, or to observe the diverse number of other river visitors throughout the day.

Each lodge also includes a mini-bar, Tea & Coffee facilities, mini-safe, en-suite bathroom with spacious shower and separate w.c., and complimentary toiletries.

Boasting one of the best locations within Gonarezhou National Park, Chilo Gorge Tented Camp at Mahove offers guests the opportunity of experiencing this pristine wilderness area at close quarters.

A semi-luxury seasonal Tented Camp, situated on the banks of the Runde River, offering accommodation in 4 Twin Bedded en suite (shower & flushing toilet) Tents.

Meals are taken under the shade of trees, or in a canvas boma in inclement weather.

Daily activities include Game Walks with our resident Professional Guide, Game Drives & Birding, to the Chilojo Cliffs and to the nearby water pans.

Immerse yourself in this truly authentic and thrilling mobile camping experience. The Ivory Trail Adventure provides safari enthusiasts the ability to explore remote corners of this pristine wilderness at their own pace. The exact route and campsites will be tailored to take advantage of seasonal hot spots, and to accommodate your specific requests. And the mix of Game Walks and Game Drives can be tailored before and during the trip to match your requirements.

Your camp comprises 2-man dome tents, with enough height to stand-up equipped with a 2 stretcher beds, foam mattress, sheets and blankets/duvet (depending on temp/season). There is a bucket shower, with canvas frame to give privacy, and duckboards underfoot. Each campsite has well-constructed and safe bush loos (long-drops). Enjoy the rustic simplicity of mealtimes under the shade of a gazebo, or under the stars. The fly-camp comes equipped with LED lights for tents, kitchen & service area. There is an Invertor on the game vehicle for camera battery charging. There will be 2 vehicles for these trips - the 9-seater safari vehicle for guests, and another vehicle for the equipment and staff, who go on ahead and set up for lunch / campsite, as appropriate.

The Ivory Trail Adventure is available all year round, however the stable weather and cooler nights of the dry season (April to October) often provide an excellent time to enjoy this itinerary.

For those who would like to be more independent, our self catering lodges, Nhambo, offer practicality as well as spectacular views.

Each Lodge sleeps 2 and boasts its own en-suite bathroom and private balcony. There are four of these Lodges, with a shared kitchen, dining area, braai area as well as a plunge pool.

Our Family Lodge at Nhambo sleeps up to 6 and is a roomy and private house, with its own kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and private garden.

All guests at Nhambo are welcome to take meals at Chilo Gorge Luxury Lodge, or take activities with the Chilo Gorge guides, but should request at time of booking.

Clients wishing to self-drive in Gonarezhou should note the Save River is normally only fordable between late June / early July and late November / early December.

The King Suite is at the furthest end of the main house, giving it the utmost privacy. It is adjacent to the billiards room and also has a private side entrance, private lounge, and library with dedicated workspace, and a large deck overlooking the ocean, with deck chairs and a seating area.

Alongside an oversized king bed, the suite has a large bathroom with double basins, a bathtub, and a dressing room, plus indoor and outdoor showers. There is a minibar stocked with water and milk, and a coffee & tea station.

Rooms 1 & 2 are also in the main house, close to the King Suite. Both are twin, that can convert to king and has an en-suite; one with a bathtub and one with a shower. The rooms have large glass doors leading out onto the oceanside viewing deck.

The Forest Suite is separate from the main house, connected with a wooden deck passing under a beautiful canopy of trees. The suite has a large private lounge, with two-day beds that can be used as twin beds for families.

The bedroom has a comfortable king bed with a small dressing room, ample cupboard space, an en-suite bathroom, featuring double basins and a bathtub, plus indoor and outdoor showers.
Both the bedroom and the lounge area have large glass stack doors leading out onto a private deck with seating areas.

The Forest Suite also has a dedicated workspace and coffee & tea station.

The Pool Suites are, as the name implies, close to the pool area. There are two pool suites, each with twin beds that can convert to king.

These spacious suites each have ample cupboard space, a dedicated workspace, a coffee & tea station, and access to private decks through large glass stack doors. One suite has a bath and shower, and the other only has a shower.
