Croc Valley is situated on the Luangwa River overlooking the South Luangwa Park and 5 minutes away from the main gate.

Accommodation ranges from camping on the banks of the river to luxury tents on the Luangwa River.

We are very flexible and can accommodate anybody from groups to honeymoon couples.

Animals roam freely through our lodge and you can sip a gin and tonic and watch them cross the Luangwa River.

We offer game drives as well as walking safaris and many other activities.

The Funky Cichlid is named after the awesome little multi-coloured fish found in Lake Malawi called Cichlids ('sick-lids'). A cheap & cheerful Backpacker & Beach Bar with basic but comfortable accommodation and a popular restaurant. The perfect place for adventurers to unwind, explore & have fun!
