Kuname Lodge | Karongwe Private Game Reserve

Kuname Lodge is a small, unashamedly exclusive, luxury safari lodge set in about 9,000 hectares of pristine African bush, in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve. Bordered by the towering Drakensberg escarpment on the west and set in game-rich, lush, riverine vegetation, the facility offers a variety of breathtaking views, diverse landscapes and some of the best big five game-viewing opportunities in southern Africa.

Relax in an environment surrounded by tranquil beauty, whilst taking in the view on the wooden deck or soaking in your private outdoor bath.The 5 luxury, air-conditioned chalets at the Lodge are nestled in the dense African bush with magnificent views of the Kuvenjane River and Drakensberg mountains. Most rooms can be converted to offer 2 separated single beds.

A taste of Africa is all that one needs to savour the assortment of flavours brought to you by Kuname’s top gourmet chef … ensuring each meal is an unforgettable culinary pleasure.

The Manor House offers two on-suite bathrooms, a living room area, loft and a fully equipped kitchen area, and can accommodate up to six guests (ideally suited to four adults and two children). This is an ideal setting in the African Bush with full board facilities.

The lodge staff will attend to your every need whilst you enjoy a cocktail alongside your private splash pool or relax under the big Weeping Boer Bean and Jackal Berry Trees. You will experience pure Africa while enjoying dinner around the fire, listening to the evening sounds and be amazed by the beauty and clarity of the African skies. (ITT)

Nkorho Bush Lodge | Sabi Sand Nature Reserve

Nkorho Bush Lodge is situated in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve and shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. An African Jewel, with a diverse abundance of wildlife.

Set in a comfortable environment, Nkorho Bush Lodge offers a true safari experience extraordinaire whereupon guests become one with nature. As your day draws to a close, feel the thrill as the nocturnal animals rule the night. You are lured to indulge in typical African cuisine around an open fire in a traditional Leadwood Boma. Retire for the night in stylish yet homely en-suite thatched chalets that offer comfort with a difference.

Game drives start early in the morning, the best time to spot game. The lodge staff will wake you at least 30 minutes before departure. Come to the patio and enjoy a cup of coffee and rusks before your drive. There will also be a break on the game drive for tea or coffee. Afternoon/evening drive times will be discussed with you on checking in. You will stop for sundowner drinks and marvel at the surroundings and it's magic. On returning to the Lodge, feel free to freshen up and meet at the bar for a pre dinner drink.

The lodge has an infinite-edge swimming pool and a smaller rock pool available for guests to cool off during hot summer days. There is a shaded lounge area at the pool and loungers are available. (ITT)
