As the evening sky turns into a red glow you sit back, high above the river, enjoying a chilled drink while listening to the deep grunt of hippos – this experience awaits you on the sundowner deck of Namushasha River Lodge on the Kwando River in eastern Caprivi. Situated 24 km south of Kongola on the C 49 (former D 3501), it is the perfect stop-over en route to the Victoria Falls. 6 Camp sites on lawn with own BBQ and ablution block with cold & hot running water.

Location: 24 km south of Kongola on C49 (Zambezi).

After successfully bringing refreshed design and enhanced comfort to the lodge rooms in 2024, we are now turning our attention to the heart of the lodge. In 2026, the main guest areas, including the reception, restaurant, bar, and sundowner deck, will undergo a major upgrade to create a brighter, more modern space that complements the look and feel of our newly styled rooms. To ensure a smooth renovation process with minimal disruption, the lodge will be temporarily closed from 15 January to 2 April 2026. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist with rescheduling any existing bookings.
