Mantobeni Camp is designed to reflect Hemingway’s Africa.

There are 12 tents which are nestled in a Tamboti grove overlooking a dry river bed. Our reception area is comprised of a large sitting area, an outdoor area with a splash pool & sun loungers, a bar and an extensive climate controlled wine cellar.

Game visiting the nearby watering hole can be seen from the swimming pool deck which adjoins the reception area.

The tents at Mantobeni Camp are furnished with king size beds (we can convert these to twins should this be required), mosquito nets and soft leather couches. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a sunken concrete bath, double shower, his & hers basins and a separate toilet.

The tents are each set on a wooden platform that has 5 steps leading up to the tent. There is soft lighting within the tent and we do provide mosquito repellent for our guests.

Due to the layout and terrain of Mantobeni Camp, we only accommodate children over the age of 12 years.

Each of the en-suite rooms has a Queen sized bed, Coffee station and Satellite Television. The bathroom is equipped with a Bath and Shower with all amenities supplied

The spacious Luxury Double Room consists of a Queen sized bed. We also offer Satellite Television and a beverage facility in the room. The Bathroom is very spacious and is equipped with a Bath and a Shower with all amenities supplied

Our Double Lake Rooms offers you the opportunity to experience a little piece of heaven. All rooms have a Queen Sized bed, a Balcony with an open view on the Lake and the Bush. The Rooms are equipped with Mini-bars and Coffee Machines

Our spacious Luxury Lake Rooms offers you the opportunity to experience a little piece of heaven. All rooms have a King Sized bed and big opening windows with an open view on the Lake and the Bush. The Rooms are equipped with Mini-bars and Coffee Machines

The LUXURY COTTAGE SUITE is an elegant traditional African style cottage, 2pax sharing (king or twin beds) or 3pax sharing (king + single or 3 single beds). Each suite complete with interior floor in red cement decorated with wooden inlays, wooden and thatch roof, outdoor wooden planks deck.

Stylish interior furnishing is made of natural materials and original design with eclectic contemporary themes and some specific accents on local art and traditional production. It offer a stunning sea view overlooking the Bazaruto Archipelago Islands, private fully equipped veranda with hammock, private round pool (3m diameter) and sundeck.
