Wildlife Activities

Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is famed for its Jungle Safaris on Jeep and Elephant. We offer Bandhavgarh Jungle Safaris in 4 x 4 Open Suzuki Jeeps with front facing elevated seats. Morning safari is usually from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the evening safari is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., The Park permits entry only after sunrise and exit before sunset, so the timing tends to change with the season. In peak winters safaris start as late at 7:00 a.m and in summers as early as 5:00 a.m. Elephant safari in Bandhavgarh for joy rides for 1 hour and for half day can also be organized with the forest department. To minimize the ever increasing vehicular pressure on the park the Bandhavgarh lodge offers cycling and walking in the wilderness. Walking and cycling is encouraged in the periphery of the park with trained guides.

Village visits, bird walks and picnics at water bodies are regulalry organised. A day trip or an over night trip to Sanjay National Park can also be organised, Sanjay offers great opportunity to see Sloth Bear.

Village visits and workshops with bamboo weavers are organized to get to explore and learn about the village life in forest areas. Bandhavgarh also offers great opportunity for picnics at water bodies and in the reserve forests.
