Wilderness Little Makalolo | Eastern Hwange National Park

A charming, intimate camp in the south-east of Hwange, Wilderness Little Makalolo features prominently on the mental maps of local wildlife, all drawn to its reliable waterhole. A log-pile hide affords unique, thrilling close-up views of elephants, and habitat diversity ensures year-round wildlife.

Activities focus on game drives and morning nature walks. The many waterholes produce amazing sightings, or guests can relax in camp and wait for wildlife to come to them. The six spacious en-suite tents (including a family tent) are only surpassed in the experience stakes by the opportunity to sleep out at the Madison Pan star bed.

On the banks of the Zambezi River lies Old Drift Lodge. The lodge boasts luxury accommodation in Zimbabwe’s pristine Zambezi National Park, a mere 7 km from the mighty Victoria Falls. The main lodge area has 360-degree views, overlooking the Zambezi River to the north and to the south a productive waterhole. Old Drift Lodge is the closest lodge within the national park to Victoria Falls. Luxury boats transport safari guests to this natural utopia where they are accommodated in 10 double suites and four family suites. The spacious canvas en-suite rooms express an elegance that blends seamlessly with the natural environment. Each suite has its own viewing deck with a private plunge pool.

Wilderness Tubu Tree | Okavango Delta

From its location on the western side of remote Hunda Island, Wilderness Tubu Tree has easy access to a diverse range of habitats. Day and night game drives explore productive mopane and acacia woodlands, with Wilderness Tubu Tree being well known for its leopard sightings. Wildlife movements vary with seasonal water levels, meaning that no two Tubu experiences are ever the same – but all are equally wonderful.

Eight guest tents (including one designed for families) offer breathtaking floodplain views from their elevated positions. In addition to the drama and excitement of game drives, seasonally-available water activities facilitate a different pace and perspective.

Wilderness Qorokwe | Okavango Delta

The name Qorokwe means 'the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water' and is evocative of the high-density game area in which the camp is situated. The diverse habitats of the south-eastern Okavango support a wealth of wildlife, earning the area’s well-deserved reputation as a top Botswana safari destination.

Wilderness Qorokwe has nine tented suites, one of which is a spacious family unit with a private plunge pool. En-suite facilities feature an indoor shower with an inward opening door giving the illusion of an outdoor shower experience. Built on elevated wooden platforms, the main area includes a dining room, lounge, library, bar and an infinity pool overlooking an expansive lagoon. Highlights of Wilderness Qorokwe’s dining experiences include festive boma evenings and scrumptious pizzas from the camp’s bespoke oven.
