Sossusvlei Excursions

The Elegant Desert Lodge also offers a variety of activities like the guided Sossusvlei Excursion, hot air ballooning, Quad bike Excursion with the option of a picnic breakfast in the Desert or our signature, must do Scenic Drive. Amongst the breath-taking setting of the Naukluft mountains roam desert adapted plains wildlife like Kudu, Springbok, Hartman Mountain Zebras and Oryx.

Various hiking trails via the open plains and Mountains can be explored on your own, either as a hike or a trail run. The trails will allow you to become intimate with nature as the blue skies, soulful silences and liberating, endless horizons engrave themselves into your soul.
