Mopiri Camp is situated in the Okavango Panhandle, approximately 290kms from Maun and 118kms from Shakawe.

Ten spacious en-suite tents are set on the banks of the Weboro Lagoon offering panoramic views. Long winding boardwalks connect the main area and the tents.

The tents are light and airy and have separate bathrooms with large rain showers, twin basins and a toilet. The bathrooms are adjoined to the rooms by a short corridor making the most of the view over the lagoon.

The main area has a large dining room, with a separate lounge area. The deck and swimming pool overlooks the lagoon with hidden seating areas and a fire pit. The boma is where traditional evenings are held and guests can enjoy the sounds of the Mopiri choir and taste local cuisine.

Meals are served in a variety of al fresco locations around the islands and camp. Sundowners and private dinners can be enjoyed aboard the double storey barge under the African night sky.

Activities on offer include short mokoro trips, short bush walks on islands close by, fishing trips and bird walks by the Wild Bird Trust. Longer activities include day boat trips with a bush walk and mokoro trip or overnight trips to the private fly camp, incorporating all the activities mentioned above.

The camp offers secure parking in Etsha 6 for self-drivers. Depending on the season guests will then be transferred by road or boat to Mopiri Camp. Alternatively, for an additional cost, guests can fly in by helicopter.
