On the banks of Lake Victoria lies our beautiful, picture perfect golf resort with a 18-hole golf course, designed by Golf Plan with a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels. The views of the lake and its surroundings are soft on the eye with ample bird life, while each hole has a different and relaxed feel to it. Located at the golf club with a sweeping view of Lake Victoria, this restaurant serves an a la carte menu. The restaurant is also open for hosting private functions and parties during the week with the exception of Friday through Sunday.

The Citadel is an all-day brasserie that offers both an international selection and our Chef’s own array of typical Mediterranean cuisine. A wide selection of snacks can be enjoyed either on the extensive Lake View Pool Terrace, in the Courtyard Lounge or on the Piano Bar Terrace.

Offering cosy warmth and rustic brick arches, Kigo Bar is the essence of Tuscan wine country elegance and a romantic spot for enjoying cocktails and a rich selection of old- and new-world wines. In this intimate ambiance or on the lake-view patio, guests can also enjoy light fare, authentic Italian espressos and cappuccinos and the finest Ugandan tea, fruit and herbal infusions.

Gazing out over the resort’s rose gardens and terraces, the Tuscan-styled Pool Bar is the place to meet and celebrate the moment with an afternoon cocktail or perhaps a glass of champagne to toast another splendid Ugandan sunset.

Apoka Safari Lodge is in Kidepo Valley National Park in Northern Uganda. Apoka is located on a picturesque kopje overlooking the Narus River valley in the south-western sector of Kidepo. The Park itself is located in the far North-eastern section of Uganda, bordering Sudan to the North, the Napore Mountains to the West, and the Morungole Mountains to the South. Everything is handmade by local craftsmen, everything is large and capacious and super comfy. The expansive chalets with natural canvas walls surround a rocky kopje with endless views across the savannah. With inside sitting rooms and private verandas there are plenty of places to relax, read and sprawl. Big hand-hewn beds with soft duvets are draped with mosquito nets, hand-woven woolen carpets, oversized dressing gowns…you may be as far away from the city as you’ll ever be, but you won’t miss a thing. Step outside to a sheltered terrace and slip into your own outdoor rocktub, big enough to fit the whole family.

Two game drives a day are included in our daily rates and are usually done in the morning and in the late afternoon.

We use open Landcruiser game-viewers. Our expert guides will discuss with guests what they hope to see and will tailor the outing based on these discussions.

Snacks and drinks (included) are always brought on a drive and guests can stop and enjoy a drink and a nibble in the bush.

Our guests are very likely to get up close and personal with Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Rothschild giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Waterbuck, roan antelope, Jackson's hartebeest, warthog, among many other savannah species. The birdlife is also excellent and the park boasts over 400 species.

Guided walks out in the bush, learning about flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in the African Bush, follow the tracks, walk with zebra and giraffe, step in the footprints of elephant on a dry riverbed, examine plants and geological features. The excursions can be long or short (some can be full day excursions) and are tailored to the individual group with many routes available depending on the season.

Combine your morning game drive with a wild breakfast experience. Instead of returning to the lodge for your meal, set up under the shade of a giant kigelia tree and have breakfast in the bush surrounded by wildlife.

Visit a local Karamajong village with an interpretative guide whose family still lives there. Learn the traditional ways of life, speak with the elders, participate in the storytelling and dancing and daily life. These visits are authentic immersive experiences, not put on for the tourist.

African Sunsets are world famous, and nowhere is more spectacular and memorable than Kidepo for watching the sun drop towards the horizon. From vantage points on top of one of the many rocky outcrops, or on the edge of an animal filled watering hole, sit back and watch the show, G+T in hand as the sky shifts, phasing going through almost every colour of the spectrum in the space of just a few minutes.

Make your way back to camp in the gathering darkness, keeping an eye out for the unique and unusual creatures that come out after dark.

Ndali Lodge is set stunningly amidst the Bunyaruguru crater lake region of Western Uganda, 26 kilometres south of Fort Portal. It lies at the centre of 1000 acres of privately owned fertile farmland still cultivated in a traditional style.

Ndali Lodge is a traditional colonial lodge set in the stunning crater region of Western Uganda. Built of local stone and thatch, the 8 luxury bandas offer views over the dramatic Rwenzori Mountains; each banda is en-suite with a private veranda. This is a great base from where to track the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. Ndali Lodge does have hot and cold running water however all lighting is by candle or storm lantern!

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is located in Southern Bwindi in Uganda. It is remote and at over 2,000 metres above sea level, it is Uganda’s highest lodge. It sits up on a ridge above the clouds looking across to the Virunga volcanoes and the impenetrable forest that is Bwindi. Guests at Clouds stay in their own cottage. Guests stay in private stone cottages, all of similar fine standard.

8, large and spacious stone cottages with separate living rooms and ensuite bathrooms.

All cottages have their own private sitting room with a fireplace and deep comfy armchairs and sofa.

Each cottage features the original commissioned artwork of an individual Ugandan artist and has breath-taking views through big picture windows looking out to the Virunga Volcanoes.

Guests can opt for King size bed or two twins.

These cottages have outdoor verandas with sitting area. Family Rooms have a grassed area outside where guests can sit and drink in the view.

Gorilla tracking is the highlight of a trip to Clouds, and for many it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A truly unique wildlife encounter combining wilderness, wonder and awe.

The tracking can take anywhere between 2-8 hours and requires a degree of fitness and physical ability.
