With all the style and understated elegance of the owner’s private pied-a-terre, the River House is well suited to those with discerning taste, and who value secluded space and exclusivity. Two ample bedrooms and a lavish living room can comfortably host a group of four, while the wrap-around veranda and its river views offer a peaceful setting for repose.

Snugly set in forested thickets and perched high on the riverbank, two spacious cottages are designed to complement the privacy and seclusion of their natural element. A terrace opening onto the forest and the outdoor rain showers invite inhabitants to soak in the beauty of their surrounds, and to appreciate the wildlife animating the canopy overhead.

The delightful Garden Rooms are each uniquely and tastefully furnished, and yield views across acres of lush lawns from the shelter of fertile foliage. Several are adjoined for families and friends, while others offer couples the exclusivity and romance of their own private space. The Rivertrees reservation team makes a point of allocating each room according to the needs of their individual guests, and takes care to ensure that the right match is made for the perfect stay.

Set beneath the crashing cascades of the Endabash Waterfall, this breath-taking camp sits on the edge of a dry river bed. Set away from game drive tracks and one of only a handful of camps in this park, our Manyara camp benefits from both privacy and tranquility. The aspect looks out onto the towering rift and forested, peaceful peaks. This camp redefines Lake Manyara National Park. The Wayo Manyara Camp, its surroundings and the wildlife around make it one of the best bush camps in the region.

The camp is made up of 8 spacious tents each enjoying attached bathrooms. Set on decks, the arrangement provides guests with a raised view and solid wooden floors underfoot. Each tent benefits from a king-sized bed which can be arranged as a twin as required. The structure and interiors have all been locally crafted linking to our commitment to empowering local people. The roof is gauze; revealing the stars via an automatic retractable system and much of the wooden features have been reclaimed from our previous camp.

We have 8 beautifully spacious, comfortable and stylish tents with large windows that let the light and air in. The idea of these tents is that you feel immersed in the bush whilst still enjoying the comfort of a large double bed, linen sheets and everything you want and nothing you don't.

These tents are set on decks for that extra sense of comfort and protections and also providing a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the game that wanders past camp daily. En-suites are attached with flushing toilets, bucket showers and basins. These tents are operated in the most environmentally sustainable manner whilst also being somewhere you can relax and enjoy true wilderness. These rooms have all been locally handcrafted - empowering local Tanzanians and reclaiming much of the wood from our previous camp.

The Plantation Lodge’s location offers maximum safari enjoyment to visitors. It is situated close to the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Lake Manyara National Park, and just a short journey away from the Tarangire National Park and the Serengeti. The lodge features individually furnished rooms and suites, as well as all amenities for a comfortably relaxed vacation. Guest accommodations range from luxurious suites to stylish standard rooms and a spacious garden house.

In the Ngorongoro Highlands – tucked away from the main tourist trails – lies Mysigio Luxury Seasonal Camp. The location is magnificent, set in the heart of ‘massai country’ with ancient forests and stunning views to the south overlooking Lake Eyasi. Yet being only 20 minutes drive from the Crater Rim means that its possible to get down into the crater for an early game drive – the camp crew can arrange a packed breakfast for those who want to make sure they don’t miss any of the action. The camp is seasonal and is in place for about 8 months of the year – this means we have the opportunity to make it far more comfortable than a mobile camp – the tents are vast – each with a roomy en suite bathroom boasting twin basins and a large shower. The tents have ‘caravan style’ flush toilets and traditional bucket showers. We can offer either twin or double beds and each roomy tent has a writing desk and private veranda to relax and look out over the rolling hills. Dining is a grand affair in a uniquely designed mess tent which can be closed up during the cool evenings or opened up for an al fresco feel for breakfast and lunch. We make a lot of effort with our food, using local fresh ingredients as much as possible to produce amazing meals all cooked on a gas burner and a charcoal oven! the cooks love it if you wander back for a look at their kitchen.

Wayo Serengeti Green Camp is located in the northern section of the Serengeti. The wildebeest track through the corridor where our camp resides on the way to the Mara River where they cross back and forth between the months of July and October. These Mara River regions are densely populated by tourists and camps so we prefer to be tucked quietly away from others to enjoy solitude. The river is still accessible for our guests on their daily game drives allowing for the best of both.

HANDMADE IN TANZANIA

Our Wayo Serengeti Green Camp features our newly designed tents sewn by local teams located on the boundary of Arusha National Park. The offering further extends our iconic Wayo mesh-sided tents to be 180 degrees creating a picture-window frontage and taking the inside-outside experience to another level.

Encased in a beautiful stretch canvas overhead, tents sensitively blend into the landscape whilst also providing shade and privacy. There are ensuite bathrooms with low-flush toilets and bucket showers.
